A patient explains how they found their MACI cartilage grafting surgeon and what the procedure involves. They learned about it from their orthopedic doctor and had cartilage harvested from the same site as the injury. The MACI website has a tool to find local practitioners.
A couple follow-up questions there. So, um, I assume they grafted the cartilage from the same site where the hole was, is that right? Yes, that's correct. Okay. How did you find out about the procedure? Did your ortho tell you about it? Yes. Yeah, yeah. So, um, just so everyone knows, if you go to maci.com, so it's M-A-C-I, um, you can— there's a find a practitioner button. You can find someone in your area. I know locally we have someone in Fort Myers that does it. Okay, what else do I want to ask you? Anything else you want to say about it that you think is unique?
