A story needs a problem or conflict to work. Before you tell one, know your audience and what you want them to take away. Master both the conflict and the message.

A story needs a problem or conflict to work. Before you tell one, know your audience and what you want them to take away. Master both the conflict and the message.
Now, when you're telling a story, the second most important thing in a story is having a conflict or raising the stake or having a problem. Because if you don't have a problem, you actually don't have a story. What's the most important element? Takeaway message. If your story is not relevant for your customer, for your audience, then it's a story wasted. So that is why the very first thing that you should ask is that, who is my audience? And what is the message that I want to share? So if you master both the conflict as well as the carry away or take out message, you can become a great storyteller in no time. And if you want to be part of a community which helps you become a great storyteller by giving you feedback, by pushing your limits, type CSH in the comment and my team will share details about the Confident Storytelling Hub.
