I really appreciate you sharing that with us though, Bill. So let me ask you, Bill, as a 5-time cancer survivor, your perspective, as we've been alluding to, is invaluable. What advice would you give to those who are struggling to maintain hope through that battle?
Yeah, hope is a big one. There's a couple answers to this, but you, you got to always remember the, the reasons why that you're fighting. Because this is where I got in trouble, right? I wanted to give up until Pastor Tanya reminded me of all the reasons why I should fight. Remember the family, the friends, even my work to make God proud. For those that are losing hope or losing the will to fight, reminding yourself every day why you want to fight can help you get out of bed and get going and go to the treatments and go to the appointments. On the hope side, that is a great question. And, and, you know, hope is such a powerful, uh, thing. And I tell people that the longer I live, the longer I will live, uh, because the advancements in, in, in cancer treatments are, are advancing that rapidly. For example, with lung cancer, there are no 5-year statistics that even make any sense because the advances have been so dramatic and so fast. So that's a hope piece.
