Sometimes as women, we can get controlling, right? Especially I think when we have kids. So I would be home all day with my kids homeschooling and I would be delegating tasks, right? You go do this, you go do this, you go do this. And then guess what? My husband would come home and I would just put him right in the mix and start delegating to him too. And you know what? That did not feel respectful to him, and he did not enjoy that. And that was one of those kind of repelling behaviors. So come to find out— maybe you can let me know if this is right or not— men don't want to be told how to dress or how to drive or where to park or what to say or not to say, all of those things. And somehow we get into that position, and maybe it's as a mother we get used to doing that with the kids and we begin to do it. Yeah, our husband.
