In this sermon excerpt, the speaker emphasizes that God is continuously at work on behalf of believers, even when His activity is unseen or unfelt. He warns against impatience and self‑reliance, urging listeners to wait on the Lord rather than act on their own understanding, which can set them back. The speaker describes God as a relentless pursuer whose love never fails, inviting believers to reflect on God’s goodness and intimate care for the details of their lives. While affirming that God’s promises bring blessings, he explicitly distances his message from the prosperity gospel, stating that the Bible’s truth, when applied, yields untold blessings without guaranteeing material wealth. The overall tone is encouraging, urging trust in God’s unfailing love and faithful application of Scripture.

And there's a song out there that says he never stops, he never stops working. Even when you don't see it, he's working. Even when you don't feel it, he's working. He never stops. And I love it because God goes before us and he has to clear the pathways, right? We know that the, the heart of the king is in God's hands, and God is turning the heart of the king toward us for our favor, but we run ahead of God, or we get impatient, or we think that God has forgotten about us. When, when we forget that God's not gonna make somebody do something, so while he's working it out, while he's closing doors and opening doors and turning the heart of the king, you know, he's working it out, but we get impatient. We get impatient. We don't wait on the Lord. Um, and then we end up doing things on our own knowledge, on our own understanding, and we set ourselves back. But God is such a— God is such a pursuer of us. He pursues us. He loves us so much that he's constantly pursuing us. And if we just stop to take just a reflection, if we reflect on our life and the goodness of God He's never failed. He really— he never fails. And I don't even like to say he hasn't failed me yet because God's never going to fail us. And if there's anything that I want this book to really say to someone is that God's love never fails. It never fails. And that he is, he is intimately in love with us. And he cares about the intricate details of our life and wants us to know him in all of his splendor and glory. And we're children of the King, we're inheritors of a covenant. There are blessings and there are promises. Now, I don't preach prosperity gospel, but I'm telling you, when you put the word of God to work, it is going to work in your favor. That's just the— the Bible doesn't lie. Yeah, and there are blessings untold for us.
