Chapters
I can't bring what happened at work to the house. I can't bring what happened to the house to work. We have to start learning boundaries, you know what I'm saying? You gotta start letting some things go. Uh, man, God has given you a unique responsibility to lead in your homes. As I said earlier, you don't have to beat on your chest to let everybody know that you the man. Of the house if you truly are the man of the house. Not just through action, but through speech. Gotta learn how to talk to your ladies. You gotta know how to talk to your kids. Y'all know how to be, uh, y'all learn how to listen, you know what I'm saying, or whatever. Y'all learn how to understand certain things gonna happen or whatever. Maybe it may not happen in our time, but we're living in different times now. So you got to be, you know, you got to be ready to adapt. I ain't saying let all things go, but some things just gotta let go. Uh, reminds us, a gentle answer. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, a gentle answer turns away war, but a harsh word stirs up anger. What kind of atmosphere are you creating with your words? Want to think about planting seeds. Is it one of peace and encouragement, or is it one of conflict and fear? Are you encouraging your children? Are you encouraging your wife? Are you encouraging your friends, your family members? Are you bringing peace? You can't, you can't get peace if you don't bring peace.
