Nurture Your Network: It's Not a One-and-Done Deal!

Corwin CJ Moneyway Johnson hosts a panel discussion on building professional networks. The speakers emphasize that networking requires ongoing effort, not just one-time connections, and offer advice to Patty and CJ on how to nurture relationships over time.
1. Fellas, let's be honest, regular deodorant is not cutting it. Mando is the whole body deodorant that keeps you fresh everywhere. Pits, balls, feet. Yeah, I said it. Stay fresh, stay confident.
I just give him what he request. So Patty, let's stay, stay on this topic. You talk about networking a lot. You mentioned it earlier. How important is networking?
So I, I think networking is great and getting out there. What I really encourage folks to do, CJ, is not make it a one-and-done thing. Don't go out and network and then go, "I did it." Go back, put that person in your contact list, and be a routine emailer, phone caller, Instagram sharer with that person. You must nurture your network. It's not a one-and-done. There are people that I lost contact with, CJ, people that I know would be so interesting to have in my life now, and I've just lost total contact with them, and that's my fault. So I try to encourage people to build their network and then nurture it, take care of it, water it, get sunshine on it, give back to it. You can't just get from your network. You have to give to the network.
