The clip is a short dialogue between two speakers: Speaker A (the main speaker) and Speaker B (brief responses). Speaker A talks about preserving family legacy—using AI, slideshows, funeral programs, reunion materials, and Photoshop—to record family history and make reunions special, and reflects emotionally on his father's full life and passing on his 82nd birthday. The content combines practical tips for legacy-preservation with personal anecdote and reflection.
Chapters
Everything now is about my legacy, about my family's legacy, about me putting stuff together so people know that I had a great father and knowing our family history and all that. Because when you put that out there, people— it becomes history. And people, kids 100 years from now gonna read them. I am— I know how to infiltrate history in ways that people don't think about because now me and my brother are so family-oriented that anybody in the family comes to us. So I was like, my brother is the eulogy dude and I'm the slideshow and the funeral program dude, or the family reunion program guy. I'm the family union recorder. I'm the one that— we provide support services for all the family reunions in our family because people don't know how to do a family reunion, but I got AI And I was like, how can I do a ghetto family reunion and make it fly? And it came back with 20 different things. Now, 15 of them gonna be— you don't heard them before, but 5 of them is like, oh snap, I didn't even know about that, we can do that, oh man. So now I'm extending my legacy by just— because I've been doing— using Photoshop since day one. Because I did my own— I did all the flyers for the club.
Yeah.
So, you know, I'm not just your DJ, I'm your flyer guy. I do your radio spots, I do your television spots, I take care of your lights, I take care of your sound, right? You got to hire 8 people to replace me. That's hustle. You make yourself invaluable. Well, I do that in life and do that for my family. So this last family reunion, I told them, I said, it is an honor to do this, because when you do a program for the family reunion, you get to know who everybody is because everybody wants be in that program. You got to place them and rewrite their little clips, and now you know who they are. And that's magic, man, right? And I told him, I said, this fact, y'all, this is so fly that 100 years from now it's going to be in somebody's attic and it's going to be historical fact. Like, don't nobody think about like stuff like that like I do, you see what I'm saying? Yeah, ways to do things without just saying I'm gonna build a website for this person. No. People gonna hold on to my father. Passed just before the pandemic, thank God, because he lived a full life. My father lived a full life. He outlived all his friends, and he died on his 82nd birthday in his own home, in his own bed. Full circle of life. I would be— I'd be greedy if I was sad and wanted more, because I can hope— only hope and pray that I go out like that.
Amen, right?
Yeah, in your sleep on your birthday. Come on, man.
Wow. Come on, man.
Yeah, but he wasn't— he didn't have cancer or nothing.
