Transform Your Body & Mind: Roman Fischer’s Inspiring Fitness Journey

In this CJ Moneyway Show episode, host Corwin CJ Moneyway Johnson interviews 26‑year‑old high‑performance coach Roman Fischer. Roman shares his personal evolution from a late‑starting fitness enthusiast to a bodybuilding, modeling, and acting professional who now runs a fully customized online coaching business launched during the COVID‑19 pandemic. He explains his humanitarian motivation, the structure of his coaching program—including initial goal‑assessment calls, personalized workout and meal plans, video demonstrations, form coaching, and 24/7 support—and highlights the transformative impact on clients’ physical appearance, confidence, sleep, focus, and overall quality of life. Roman also offers practical anxiety‑relief tactics: identifying root causes, spending time in nature, breathwork, regular exercise, and specific supplements such as ashwagandha, magnesium glycinate, and CBD. He discusses his biggest personal obstacle—self‑doubt and lack of support from family—and how he overcame it through mindset shifts and perseverance. The episode concludes with clear calls to action, directing listeners to his website (romanfisherofficial.com) and social‑media channels for coaching inquiries.

What's up, my good people? Welcome to the CJ Moneyway Show. Today I have on the show high performance coach. I got my man Roman on the line today. What's up, Roman? How you doing?
Pretty good, pretty good. How about you, CJ Moneyway Johnsonway Johnsonway?
I'm good, man. Thank you for coming on today. Thank you for taking a little time out of your day to come on the show, man. For sure, for sure. So Roman, before we get started, man, just tell us a little bit about yourself and about your background.
So I'm 26 years old right now, and I was not always into fitness, but ever since I got into fitness, I've been super passionate about bodybuilding, helping transform my body, but also in the process helping transform other people's bodies and their minds and just their overall motivation and mentality too. And with that, I've also found a passion with modeling and acting in my process of getting into fitness. And what's neat is ever since, they've really gone well together, they've translated well together. So I've done a lot of acting and modeling and fitness with the coaching and bodybuilding, and that's really what I do to this day. I've been in a working out for about, let's see, 11 years now. I've been at working out for 11 years, been into it. So it's been great and I've enjoyed every bit of it. It's been really rewarding seeing and witnessing the transformation of my clients from where they were to where they've gotten with my help and my support.
Okay, pretty cool, man. That's pretty cool. So what inspired you to be a professional high performance coach?
Yeah, what inspired me initially was, well, first it was when I got into fitness, I realized the positive benefits and effects it had on my body and my mind as a whole. And with that, I just felt a lot more confident. I had more energy, I had more focus and just more clarity and I just felt better, 100%, in everyday life. So after that, I would say upon that, really helping out the next person, 'cause I'm a humanitarian at heart, so that's part of the reason. But being a humanitarian and then witnessing my passion and the benefits I got from fitness, I wanted to share that with people around me, starting with my friends and family. And so that's what segued me in to the process of coaching clients and coaching people to perform better and perform higher. And so after that, it put me into that drive to then wanna help out other people around me. Cause it was funny cause I actually got into fitness coaching during the pandemic. And that was one of the craziest times to really start any kind of business, fitness coaching or otherwise. But doing it online, I found out that was the perfect move and that was really one of the best times to do it. Cause so many people were at home during quarantine. A lot of people were canceling their gym memberships. They couldn't even use the gym because a lot of gyms shut down or were closed temporarily. And because of that, a lot of people either stopped working out and it got them out of their consistent schedule, or they took it upon themselves to work out at home and make the best of it. And so with that, I just decided to capitalize on that and use that to help out other people from the comfort of their own home. And really getting that support to them during one of the toughest times in recent, you know, American history with the pandemic. And so that, that really inspired them to want to keep making a change. But that's what got me into fitness because I realized all the benefits I got for myself, then all the people I wanted to help out from there. And really from there, it's been super rewarding and I've never looked back since. I've never looked back since.
That's pretty cool, man. I like how you said that you're a humanitarian. You know, by nature that you just want to see people do better. You want to see people get in the right position. And something that inspired you and that encouraged you to do it yourself and to want to help others, man, that's encouraging too, man, because we need more people that's willing to, you know, just sacrifice theyself for others. You know, that's what life is about, helping the next man. I know the words say that if you see your brother in need and, you know, he wants something but you tell them that you can't give it to them today, you give it to them tomorrow. What good is that? So it's good that we have people like yourself, man, that's willing to share yourself with others to see them accomplish their goals as well, man.
Thank you.
Yeah. So since we talking about fitness and we talking about, you know, the things that you've been doing since 2020, tell us a little bit about your fitness program.
Yeah, for sure. So what I do is I always get on a couple calls with the client or potential client. I just really go over their goals. About anything they've tried, what's worked, what has not quite worked, and then just any and all struggles that they're facing with their current fitness journey and with their fitness goals at the present moment. And so when I can dial in all that, then I can actually build out a fully customized workout schedule and a workout plan dedicated to their goals and just their overall schedule. And so that what's really neat is in the fitness routine, it's fully customized to their goals. So it's not like that, you know, basic one-size-fits-all cookie-cutter program. You can actually still get the goals and the results you want, but it's fully catered to those goals 100%. And so it's a fully, you know, full-fledged, fully customized meal plan and workout plan where people can actually discover, you know, workout videos from me doing them so they can see how to do them with the right form and the right technique. Because one of the worst things people do is you know, especially in the beginning stages of their fitness, they'll get into a workout not knowing how to do it, but then they'll just focus on trying to lift as heavy as they can. And it's cool to lift heavy, it's great, but you got to get that form, you got to get that technique down first, and then you can build upon that. So I always stress the importance of form in my program too. And so them seeing how to do each workout in the videos, that helps a lot. Also getting those voiceovers from me, hearing how to do each rep in each exercise with the right form too is also very important. And then from there, it's like, it's 24/7 support, 24 access to me. So anytime a client needs my help or any attention, I'm just a quick phone call or text away. And those are just a few of the many other benefits listed in my program.
Oh, okay. So speaking of your program, where can people find your program at?
Yes, so typically they can go to my website at romanfisherofficial.com. That's where they can find out more about me, anything related to my clients, their transformations, their testimonials. And then if they want to become a client too, and if they have any help that they need with their goals, that they, they can actually apply with me on my website at romanfisherofficial.com, or they can find me at my social media at Roman Fisher Official.
Okay, cool, cool, cool, Roman. So what gets you excited and fulfills you about working with clients?
Yeah, what really excites me and fulfills me with clients that I have is seeing the transformation of where they started initially. So because they typically start and come at me from a very dark place, a very dark spot, and it's crazy, you can see it in their face even. You can It's not just how they look physically, but just in their face, literally just the energy from their face and their emotions from their face. And you can see they come from a very dark spot, very dark place. They're usually more depressed, not so confident, not so sure of themselves essentially. And they don't feel good. They feel tired, they feel weak, they feel stressed. They don't feel organized. They don't feel like their health is where it needs to be, where they want it to be. And really where they need it to be. And so them starting there to then seeing that transformation along the way, and even just a month, especially months down the road, 2, 3 months especially, and seeing that just huge transformation, the gradual, but then the ultimate huge life-changing transformation, and seeing them make that change from being either more skinny to gaining a lot of muscle, to, or being more overweight to really toning up, losing that weight, and getting really toned up and shredded. And not even necessarily shredded, sometimes just more toned up and healthy looking. They don't have to have a six-pack per se, which is cool if they want it, but just them getting a more aesthetically better and more pleasing look for themselves and really increasing their confidence tenfold. It's really huge for me seeing that, and it's really neat seeing that too. And then just hearing their story, then not just the results that I'm seeing physically and their energies increased, but also hearing the story from themselves, their own testimonial and how they feel better. They sleep better, they have more focus, they have more clarity, more concentration, uh, better sleep. And literally they feel stronger in their everyday jobs. They feel like they can lift more weight. They know they can lift more weight in their work. They can actually perform better in and out of work and really just lead a much better, much happier life. And seeing that from where they were to where they become in just a few months, it's really life-changing for me because I realize, well, they changed their life, but I was able to help them in the process. And being that humanitarian, it just makes me feel that much more fulfilled because I'm just one of those people that love helping people out. It's part of my nature. Like we discussed. And so seeing that firsthand from each client I help out, no matter their fitness goals, no matter how big or small they are, but seeing that transformation gradual yet effective at the very end, it's really neat seeing that. And then just continuing the process from there, it's really, really amazing and very exceptional because not a lot of people take the time, take the patience, and actually take the focus and energy needed to change their lives. And their health, but those people that want to make a time investment and just an overall investment in their health, it's the best investment ever they make. And then knowing I was able to help them in the process again is really fulfilling.

Yeah, I think I'll be on a level where you say something with the six-pack and someone just want to tone up. I think I'd be on the just tone up part. I think my six-pack level days, uh, has passed me by myself. But, uh, so yeah, that's pretty cool, man. So, um, how do you overcome anxiety?
Yes, the best way I've found to overcome anxiety in any day of life really is first and foremost pinpointing the root of your anxiety, the root cause of that anxiety that you have. So whatever's causing your anxiety, getting to the, you know, just the full bottom picture of it. And when you can finally pinpoint and analyze what that is, it's easier to tackle it, manage it, and even overcome it ultimately. So that's number one. Number 2, I found that getting out, honestly, just getting out in nature. So if there's a lake near you, if there's a mountain near you that you can hike, maybe it's just going by the beach if you have a beach nearby, or even just getting out in like a forest or some kind of hiking trail. Doesn't have to be anything crazy, but just getting out away from the hustle and bustle of the city and clearing your mind. And really just thinking and meditating even. And you don't even have to do a full-on meditation, but even just closing your eyes for even a minute, 30 seconds, breathing in, breathing out, inhaling and exhaling, inhaling and exhaling, and just really releasing any and all anxiety. Because a lot of people don't really practice that because a lot of people, they don't understand the effectiveness of it because they don't think it's that effective. They think that doing these simple, you know, meditations or simple exercises, but just inhaling and exhaling, it's not that effective because it's too simple. But the thing is, I found that that's one of the best things you can do for anxiety. Sometimes the simplest things are the best and most effective things. So really just simply getting out into nature and even doing that breathwork, doing that breathwork, clearing your mind, because getting out in nature it is so healing. It is so healing and it overcomes any anxious thought because it's just the effectiveness and the healing part of nature. It's literally one of the best things for any human, any human and any mindset that they're in. It'll definitely help them reset because resetting your mindset is sometimes what you got to do, especially after a long stressful day because stress and anxiety, they go hand in hand. So getting out, just getting out to nature, that's the second thing. Another thing that I found is very effective, obviously working out. So getting in some level or form of exercise, whether it's lifting weights at the gym, or maybe it's just doing a calisthenic exercise at your apartment, at your home. Maybe you're just gonna do some pushups and some sit-ups, even if it's something that basic, just doing that alone. Will help relieve some stress and some anxiety automatically. 'Cause the endorphins from working out, from any physical activity, is going to help counteract and go against any stress and any anxiety that you have at that present time and current time. And then also from there, I would recommend if you feel the need to turn to some supplements, that's not an issue, that's not an issue. You could consider supplements such as ashwagandha. Ashwagandha is all natural. It's a natural herb supplement that people can take to relieve and take the edge off, essentially, but doing it in a natural way. It's actually derived from a plant, and it's neat because it actually does relieve anxiety and stress, and studies and research has shown that. So I've taken it myself. I've noticed the benefits. When I'm having some anxiety, because I know that I've suffered with anxiety a lot of my life, but taking ashwagandha dramatically decreases my anxiety. So that's another great way of doing it. Also supplements such as magnesium, magnesium glycinate, especially if you're trying to get better sleep, because anxiety can definitely disrupt sleep, to say the least. So keeping your anxiety at bay and trying to at least reduce, if not eliminate it, But taking magnesium glycinate is another good way to unwind and relax your mind too. From there, taking CBD— CBD is another great supplement that you can take. You could take it in the oil form. I would suggest gummy or oil form most, because when you take it in the gummy or oil form, for any of these supplements really, it actually will absorb the best and the quickest and the easiest and the fastest. So that's what I would recommend you do take for sure. And those are just some supplements that I would recommend that you do take without a doubt. There's a lot more out there. There's a lot more supplements out there, but those are my key ones I would recommend that I've noticed a huge change for myself and other clients that I've worked with.
Oh man, that's pretty cool. So we're about to wrap it up, man. I got one more question for you. So what was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome?
Yes, that's a good one. My biggest obstacle, I would have to say honestly, was believing in myself at first. That was my biggest obstacle. My biggest obstacle for just to even put it in other words was myself, really. So it was not believing in myself at the time. Because yes, I did have some exterior things, like people, people in my circle, actually even a couple people in my family back in the day, several years back, that did not support me and my goals and my dreams, whether it was to have a business or to pursue acting and modeling, which is also what I do with fitness coaching. So I've had that, I've had that lack of support with family that did not support me in that, and that's what made it really really difficult for sure. But just understanding that not everyone's going to support you right away, but doing it for you, doing it for you, and pursuing your dreams no matter what people say, no matter what people think, whether it's family or not family, but just going all in and going all out. And so that was the biggest obstacle I had, was people not supporting me or believing in me at first. And then not believing in myself at first as well, because I took that and I bought into it for a bit. But after that, I was like, nah, I can't let these people, you know, persuade me to not live the life I want to live. I only have one life. I came to that realization, life's too short. I only have one life, and this is my life as it happens, so I'm not going to let anybody take it away from me. I mean, if they want to live their life the way they want, that's fine, but it can't affect me and what what I want to do ultimately with my life, especially with helping other people out with their fitness and helping myself out with my fitness and pursuing acting and modeling, no matter how tough the road may be with any of it. I just really came to that realization and that mindset and mentality that I gotta get it, I gotta do what makes me happy, because even if it takes a lot of time and effort, it really is going to be worth it. It's nothing easy ever Nothing worth it ever comes easy, as they say. So I came to that mindset that I gotta keep going. I gotta go all in. I gotta go all out. I can't let these people get in my way, even if it's family. I just gotta brush it aside, understand they may not have achieved their goals, but that can't be why they have to stop me. And I can't let them stop me. And then one day they'll see. They'll see that I'm not gonna do this just to try to prove someone wrong, but they're gonna see the fruits of my hard work, and then they're gonna inevitably regret how they were thinking. And it's already happened to this day. So knowing that I've been able to overcome those obstacles, that's huge.
Yeah. You know, that part right there, I totally agree with you, man. The hardest thing is— and I was just telling somebody this the other day— the hardest part is when you're trying to do something and the people that you love and the people that you think will support you are the actual ones that don't. That is a gut-wrenching feeling, and a lot of times it makes you not believe in what you're doing. You know, it can be frustrating, like you say, until you get to that point you say, you know what, it's okay if you don't understand my vision, it's okay if you don't understand my dreams. It wasn't meant for you to see, it wasn't meant for you to understand, but it's meant for me to keep moving forward regardless of how you may think about it, you know, like, ah, he wasting his time, or he don't know. You know, I know exactly what you mean. There's something that I ask people all the time, like, how do you deal with the frustration of those that's close to you not supporting you in your endeavors? And like I say, sometimes it could be gut-wrenching, but at the same time, we got to move forward. If God gave us a plan, to move forward and to do something, to see it, and gave us the vision. It's just like the story with Joseph.
Exactly. Yeah, 100%.
About to wrap this up, man. It's been an interesting conversation, man. I got one more question for you. So if anyone is listening to this right now and wants to learn more about your program, how can they find you?
