Did you catch our podcast on what makes a good handler? #workingdogs #dogtrainer #podcast
In this brief podcast excerpt, two speakers discuss a common issue among dog handlers: many are hesitant to ask for help because they fear it will undermine their credibility. Speaker A notes that this reluctance can be a "killer" for handlers, while Speaker B emphasizes that a crucial quality for handlers is the ability to recognize when they need assistance and to ask for it appropriately. The exchange highlights the tension between maintaining perceived competence and the practical necessity of seeking support.
