My name is Edward Landry. I'm a 30-year Army veteran. I came to CCU for training as a training instructor. I stayed here for 8 weeks for the training course. I decided to stay for an explosive handlers course for an additional 4 weeks. I'm looking to graduate tomorrow. I've had no dog experience before I came here other than pets. When I came here, I learned the basics from from obedience through tracking, detection, and personal protection work. I absolutely have a partner in the field after graduating from this course. I trust my dog, my dog trusts me. We became a, you know, a one team. I definitely recommend CCU for people looking into getting into dog handling.
