Open the Student Record Portal by going to www.customk9unlimited.com/STD/login.php. Enter your login credentials and sign in. From this area, click Documents, Add New. Type in the file name. Select the student's name by clicking on the dropdown. You can scroll through the names. They're in alphabetical order by the student's first name, or you can type in the first 3 letters of the student's first name to pull up a list. In this case, this is my student. You'll also see that their department or agency agency name or business name is attached to their student name along with the state that their department or agency is from. This helps us to better identify the exact student that we're looking for. Once I've located the student that I'm attaching it to their file, I click the student's name. If this is a document that is directly related to a course, then I need to select the course file. I click on the dropdown menu and I look for the specific course. For this student. Again, it's in alphabetical order according to the course name. In this case, it's a Full Service Trainers course. Once I locate the course that I need to attach this file to, the easy way to identify it is I look for the course name, the course code, and then the date of enrollment or the start date for this particular student's course. Month, day, and year, the student's name, and the department, along with the loc— the department location. If this is the correct student course file, I click that. If this is a dog file or needs to be attached to a dog, I would select the dropdown menu for that. If this is a form that has to be attached to a department file, I would click on the department file to attach it to the department. If this is a file that needs to be attached to the department contact, I can do that by selecting the dropdown menu as well. And lastly, if this was a lesson plan file, I could attach it to a lesson plan. In this case, it's a course file and a student file. Those are the only two areas that this form needs to be attached to. I will add files, select the location on my computer where this file is saved, I'm doing a Change of Program form for this particular student. I'll select that form, double-click it, click Upload. Once the file is uploaded, click Save. The information that's being attached to a specific file must first be entered into the student portal first. So if I'm looking for a specific student, the student must be entered into the portal first. This is the same for all the different fields that are available. That information must be entered in first prior to attaching the file to it. You cannot enter that data in from this table. It must already be entered into the other available tables first before it will be added to the dropdown menu next to each title.
