Bang bang! Welcome to our short set. Haven't seen you guys in a while. Happy to be back. Today we're going to go over 3 commands every dog should know. All right, uh, first command. All right, I think it's really important. You want to have a nice solid recall on your dog. Recalls are extremely vital in a circumstance where I need my dog to come back to me. Maybe they slipped off the leash, ran out the front door, I want to be able to call them back from those distractions. And then we have our no, which can encompass our leave it, phooey, essentially all meaning don't do that. Whatever you're doing, stop right now. I don't want you doing that. This helps us to get rid of unwanted behaviors or stop the dog from doing things that we don't want them to do. So having a good grasp of no is really important. And then our last one, number 3, which personally I think is one of the most important, is a break or a release command, right? Being able to get the dog to go be a dog, right? Get them out of control so they're not stuck to our side, um, hovering around us. I want to— I want to have a dog that understands that, hey, when I call you into control, you're coming into control, but when I want you to be a dog, go be a dog and be happy.
Good girl.
