In this video, AJ Vargas of Custom K9 Unlimited outlines the company’s full suite of law‑enforcement K‑9 training solutions. He describes three primary options for agencies: using an already trained dog, training a green (untrained) dog, or receiving a complete handler‑dog package when no dog is available. Vargas then walks viewers through the enrollment process, directing them to the website to select a course, explaining that courses run in 8‑ to 10‑week blocks, and detailing the registration steps, including communication of start dates, course requirements, and housing options for participants.

Hello, I'm AJ Vargas with Custom K9 Unlimited, and we offer a full line of law enforcement training packages. We offer trained dogs, we offer green dogs, we also offer a full line of training packages to meet all of your police K-9 needs. Those packages will range from handler training to dog training, and then lastly also to support personnel such as departmental trainers and kennel personnel. Alright, but today we're going to deal with you getting into a handler course. Prior to getting into a handler course, an agency has to decide the best route for them. In order to do that, there's one of three options to choose from. Do you already have a dog? And if so, is that dog already trained? If that dog is not trained, we can provide training for that dog. If you just need a handler paired and trained with a dog that is already trained, we can handle that too. And then lastly, if you do not have a dog and you need a trained dog paired with a new handler and the handler also trained, we can provide that package as well. So now you've made the decision based on one of the 3 options I just gave you. Now it's time for you to enroll in a course. You can go to customk9unlimited.com/schedule and select the course that best fits your needs. Now we run all of our courses in an 8 to 10 week block. So every 8 to 10 weeks we have a new course or a course that will fit your needs that will be available. Once you enroll in that course, now it's time for the process to begin where we then move you through the registration process. The person that's registered will then be informed of the course start dates, course requirements, and housing options.
