That's really all there is to painting. Have your painters produce quickly at a high quality without using too much paint, and you'll have a good business. Easy as that.
That's key. Maybe you don't want to do the paint bonus or the Google review. Maybe you want to do labor as a percentage. Maybe you want to do NPS, net promoter score, or something like that. Use the same framework that you just talked about for covering efficiency and quality, kind of help build that bonus structure to make sure your team is aligned with what you want them to accomplish.
A lot of guys think that you need to have years and years in the trade to be a good painter, to run a good business, but I think that that's fundamentally untrue. You can run a great business. First thing, actually, I have a client right now, he's in Tennessee. He just started his business at the same time that he joined our program. He's in his second month and he's gonna book $100,000 this month and produce $45,000 in his second month of his business. He's like 24. He's just absolute bonkers. But we're setting him up with the right systems from day one so that he doesn't have to go and learn it the hard way.
