Tom Drost is the CEO of EstimateRocket. He coaches company leaders in sales and profit planning and software implementation. EstimateRocket is an all-in-one business management software for contractors. I actually started out my career as an accountant. Started using computers in my accounting work. So I started getting more and more computers. I actually quit my high-paying full benefits job, went to a computer store. I was the head of training. That led to consulting. There was just a wealth of opportunities there. I got into writing mostly things that had to do with supporting accounting. I've always enjoyed helping people. This is my second software company. First software company, actually, we worked with supermarkets. For me, all the fun out of it because I wasn't able to work with the people that it really mattered to, that were really actually using the software day to day. Started Logical Engine, became Estimate Rocket about 12 years ago. I love it. I get to work with entrepreneurs every day, help them to build their businesses.
