Pick the professor more than the class. We all, many of us learn that when we're in higher education. This is good advice for college and it's better advice for life. What I have found over the years is that when I'm deciding what to do, when I'm choosing a project, that I over-index on what it is and under-index on who I'm doing it with. And that's a mistake. Focus on who you're doing it with. I didn't do this enough in my life earlier, and as a consequence, I ended up working with people who I didn't respect and who I didn't like. Pick the professor, not just the class. You are who you spend time with when you— when you're deciding what to do, as important as the what is the who.
