This is a transcript of a YouTube podcast episode by Daniel Rosen (Credit Repair Business Secrets) that debunks four common myths about credit repair and promotes launching a credit repair business. Keep working, keep striving. And this story is exactly why we are doing this. And it's exactly why we are all in this together. So that we can change the lives of the people all around us while we reach our own goals. So when you've done something good for your community or changed your clients lives, you don't forget to tell us about it in our amazing credit Repair cloud community. It's a place where everyone goes to share tips, to get advice, and to tell their success stories. We are so lucky to have thousands of members at every stage of the game, from beginner to pro to millionaire, and way beyond. And it's all about lifting each other up altogether. Okay, so let's get into this. The three credit bureaus, they take in billions and billions and billions of dollars a year in revenue. And this means that legitimate, hardworking credit heroes can put a Serious wrench into those bureaus and banks and their money making schemes. So when you hear a bunch of negative or misleading buzz about the credit repair industry, the first thing that you should always do is, is follow the money trail back to the source, which is usually the banks and the credit bureaus. And then ask yourself, what's in it for them? Well, the answer is they hate credit repair because credit repair costs them a whole ton of money. Because they have to hire a lot of people to clean up all of those errors that we point out. And so a lot of those articles that you read online, they are sponsored by them. So here's myth number one. Credit repair companies are a scam. Okay? Credit bureaus, they say that paying a credit repair company doesn't work and it's all a scam. The bureau's and the Federal Trade Commission, they tell people that there is nothing that credit repair companies can do that anyone can't do for themselves. And yes, of course, anyone can gather all the necessary information they can write to the bureaus and they can request removal of any items that they think are errors. But hold on, isn't that true about everything? You can do your own taxes and you can cut your own hair and you can do your own gardening. So why wouldn't hiring a tax preparer or a barber or a gardener be called a scam? This is because they want to smear hardworking credit repair business owners who are making a difference for their clients and changing a ton of lives. Successful credit repair companies mean less dollars for the banking industry and the bureaus. Of course, not all credit repair companies are created equal, but legitimate and well respected businesses, they do exist. I know, because thousands of credit heroes are using credit repair cloud software to power their businesses and to make them a success. So now let's move on to myth number two. You won't see improvements to your credit score for a long time. Okay, Change isn't going to happen overnight, but it does happen way faster than most people think. Credit bureaus will generally update the credit scores every 30 days and hard inquiries are reported as soon as they occur. In fact, if you check out our Facebook community, you will see that our credit heroes are getting fast deletions constantly when they apply our expert strategies. And you'll see for yourself how their client scores keep climbing higher and higher. Okay, let's move on to myth number three. Negative items can be added back to your credit report. Now you may have heard that credit bureaus can add negative items by back onto your credit report after they've been removed from a dispute, but in most cases, items erased from credit reports, they will never reappear again. So this is another example of false information. And finally, myth number four, and this is something that I've covered in my podcast before because it's very important. There is a misconception that credit reports are, for the most part, mostly accurate. And that is not true. Errors are more common than people realize. In fact, nearly 8 out of 10 consumers has an error on their credit reports and they may not even know about it. See, most people, they make it a habit to review their credit card statements monthly to ensure that they recognize all the charges. And the very same should be true for your credit report because you never know what incorrect and damaging information could be affecting your credit scores. Now, the first section of the report is where it lists all the personal information, and so often that is where the first errors are. So basically, when lenders check your client's credit report to review an application for financial products like credit cards and loans and even apartments, if there is any inaccurate information on the credit report, this can jeopardize your approval rate and affect the terms that you receive as well as your interest rates. And as a credit hero, you need to know that you have a few tactics that you can use to remove those errors. Check out my episode from earlier this month. It's all about credit repair hacks and disputing errors. And in that episode, you'll find out exactly what to do. The link is in the show notes for this podcast, and if you apply those strategies, your clients will love you for it. And that's it for today.
