Everyone is talking about the coronavirus, but no one is answering the big question that the whole credit repair industry has on their mind. How will coronavirus affect my credit repair business? Well, listen up because I'm going to tell you right now.
So the big question is, how can we take our passion for helping people with their credit and turn it into a successful business without taking loans, without spending a fortune by bootstrapping it from nothing so we can help the most people and still become highly profitable? That is the question and this podcast will give you the answer. My name is Daniel Rosen, and welcome to Credit Repair Business Secrets.
Hey, credit heroes. I'm here at home. I'm in my bathrobe. It's the end of week one of self quarantine, along with everyone else here in California running our business from here. And I'm keeping an eye on the news. And it's a very, very strange time. So many people have already lost their jobs, so many are in trouble and sick and dying all over the world. And our hearts go out to them. I hope you're healthy, I hope you're home and taking care of yourself and taking care of your family. And if you're watching this, I will assume that you have a credit repair business. And if so, I. I'm sure you're wondering, how will the coronavirus affect my credit repair business? Here's what I want to tell you. If you look back through history, you'll see that some of the biggest companies that are around today, they all started during difficult times. IBM, Microsoft, Apple, even Burger King, they all started during a recession. I started Credit Repair Cloud during the economic meltdown from 2008 to 2013. Like a crazy person, I started building it in 2008, right when the meltdown started. And I was so broke, I didn't have $2 to rub together. At that time, I was being woken up every morning by harassing calls from bank of America collections. I was in a deep depression. I. I was on the verge of losing everything. But I had this thing in my head that I had to build and nobody would invest in it. So I knew I had to do it. I knew that the bad times we were having, they would eventually end. And I knew that if I was actually able to build it, then at the end of that long, horrible tunnel, I would finally be in the right place at the right time. So through all of those five really rough years, I bootstrapped it from nothing. And you know what? I was right. So you might be thinking, sure, that sounds great for you. Daniel. But how will this coronavirus thing affect my business? Well, like I said, this is the time for opportunity. This is the time when fortunes will be made. Money is like energy. It flows back and forth. So why not focus on having it flow to you? Here's what I want to tell you. The people with traditional businesses, they are the ones in trouble right now. In fact, many of them are already out of business. But the people with a home based business, most of them are thriving right now. There has never been a better time in history to have a home based business. There has never been a better time for the credit repair industry. Yes, you may have some clients cancel who are having hard times right now because many people are going to be out of work until this is all over. But those are the people who can't pay their bills right now. But they're going to need help with their credit later, just like they did after the last recession. But that's later. Here is the good news for you today. Last week the Federal Reserve lowered the interest rate to 0.25%. Think about that. 0.25%. And they've done this to stimulate the economy. So here's what that means to you. If you make yourself visible right now and if people can see your business and know about you right now, you are going to have a huge flood of new clients who are all looking to get those new low mortgages and low refis that are being rolled out. You are about to have a boom if you're out there, if you're ready and if you're prepared for it. And by being out there, I mean you need everyone in your Facebook and everyone in your Instagram to know that you repair credit. You need to be talking about credit, posting about credit, telling people how to improve their credit, showing results from clients, giving advice, showing testimonials, and maybe even giving away free credit repair anything that keeps you in people's minds so that when they think about credit, they, they think about you. Okay, I have interviewed all the top people who use social media to build million dollar credit repair businesses like Ashley Massengill and they all say the same thing. Post three times a day, okay, this costs nothing, but it starts to get your name and your message out there. And by being prepared, I mean that people in the credit repair industry have to adapt to the times. And the times now say work at home. Anybody who has a traditional job right now is envying you if you work at home. I'm a longtime proponent of working at home. I don't Think offices are necessary at all? No customer cares if you have an office. And many of our most successful credit repair cloud users, the ones who make millions of dollars and are in our millionaires club, and many of them work from home. As long as you have your processes down, you can work from anywhere. And with today's technology, you can do anything you need right from home. I ran Credit Repair Cloud right here from my kitchen at home for many, many years. And you know what? Nobody cared that I was at home. But to be honest with you, I prefer working from home. And that part of this crisis is actually pretty cool. I get to be in my bathrobe all day long being Bathrobe CEO. And there's no reason why you can't run your whole credit repair business from home too. It's so easy right now, and we have such amazing tools at Credit Repair cloud. We have 60 employees and currently everyone is working from home. Our team, they're all over the world, and yet we still have meetings in person every single day. Every morning we have a morning huddle meeting where we talk about our critical numbers, how many users we have, any company news, any updates, and we do all that through this amazing tool called Zoom. This forced isolation, quarantine, whatever you want to call it, it is not having any effect on my business. And it doesn't have to have any effect on your business either. If you adapt in the time of crisis, most entrepreneurs either freeze and do nothing, or they start making irrational emotional decisions that affect their business and affect their lives. But the ones who focus and lean in and double down on process, who learn to adapt to their new situation, they're the ones who are going to be very, very lucky during this time because the money is going to flow to them. I see this as a time of opportunity. We are actually doubling down on this time. I'm hiring more programmers so I can bring you new features faster. And we have some amazing tools for you coming out really soon. Now is the time for you to double down on your business too. If you're stuck at home and you're in quarantine, use it to your advantage. This is a great opportunity. Here's why this is important. If you're a little slow this month, then that's a blessing. Take this time to get organized on your tools and your processes. And you'll also want to set up your whole business so that you can work entirely from online and entirely over the phone. Having great tools and processes is how you streamline your business. And it's also how you grow your business. Here's what you need to know. These tools don't have to be expensive, and many of them are free. Zoom is amazing. It's the best video teleconferencing software out there. If you don't have Zoom, I highly recommend that you get it. There's even a free version, and it's really, really cool. You can use it for team meetings. You can use it for client consultations. It's amazing. And we use it all day, every day. We also use Slack all day, every day. There's also a free version of that. It's like Instant messenger on steroids. It sits on the side of your screen and you can send a message or a file or a video to, to anybody on your team right there. And they can reach you like that. And you can communicate instantly without having to be in Facebook or some other app that's distracting you. And you can also communicate in groups or by teams. And it's really, really cool. It's called Slack, and it will change your life. And you can start with the free version. And we also use Google Drive, which is part of Google G Suite. And if you're not using Google G Suite, I highly recommend it. Our entire company runs on it, our email runs on it, and they even have a whole suite of tools similar to Microsoft Office. But it's much easier to use. And because of this, we can have all of our documents, important files, artwork, videos, and all of our documented processes all in that one place. The. And this makes it super easy to collaborate. And that's why we can work so well virtually from wherever we are in the world without an office. Another amazing tool you should have right now on your site is Acuity Scheduler. You can put it right on your site, and if somebody wants to schedule a call with you, they can do it right then and there from your site. And there's a free version of that, too. All these tools are amazing. You don't have to be technical to use them. Just focus on one at a time, try it out, get the hang of it. And they're actually a lot of fun. And getting all these things in place will make you unbeatable, even while you're working from home during a quarantine. Because you need an unbeatable, bulletproof business right now so that you can take on all the business that's about to come. And the more you can automate your site and have your site do the selling for you, the fewer people you are going to need on your team. Kevin Carroll, who makes millions of dollars at Credit Repair. He doesn't meet with any of his customers. They all sign up right from his site and he doesn't need to sell them because his site has so many awesome testimonials on it. And that's because he's made collecting testimonials all part of his process. So he has a zillion testimonials. I think Kevin Carroll is genius. And then during signup, his clients, they give all the information they need to get started and get the process going and to get the simple audit going. And they do this all by themselves. And this saves him a ton of time. These are all automated processes that he has built. So I hope this inspires you. So try out some of these tools. Learn how to use them. A big flood of business is coming, and if you take this time to get ready, you are going to be in the right place at the right time.
