Cómo Empezar a Cobrar por Ayudar a los Demás (sin sentirte mal)

Donnie shares how to start charging for your help without guilt. He covers the internal barriers that stop people from valuing their work: money, certainty, giving value, and dedication. Personal stories and principles for entrepreneurs who want to build a business.
Seek security outside because you can't stand your own uncertainty. And being an entrepreneur is having the certainty that you don't know what's happening yet, but you do know how it's going to end. We're not enough. And that fear of not being enough is the only thing holding you back from growing. Because if you're not happy with who you are, you'll never be happy with what you have. I'm going to tell you the uncomfortable truth about money and speed. Spiritual entrepreneurship. Understanding these concepts made me realize why many students are trying to start a business. But the money doesn't flow. They don't make money, or they have trouble selling, or they feel like they're working too hard and not seeing results. And it's because there's a part of strategy, but there's also a part of understanding how money works and how you function on a spiritual level. Because there's something that nobody tells you, and that is, hey, having a good idea isn't enough to be able to start a business. It's not enough. You have to understand what those internal keys are, those patterns, as Tony Robbins said, that are sabotaging your relationship with money and entrepreneurship. And if you don't understand this, you'll never be able to earn more, because it has nothing to do with what's outside. It has to do with what you have inside. And today, I'm going to show you five practical tips, I repeat, practical that personally help me unblock all my limitations with money, everything. Hey, why don't I earn more if I'm working 10 hours a day? Maybe what you need to do is work less. Maybe what you need to do is work less. I'm going to share my screen with you so we can watch it together. You're going to be amazed by today's live broadcast. I really want to allow you, I ask you to please be completely open so I can tell you what these five practical tips are. The first one is presence before haste. Presence before haste. Look, in the society we're living in now, everything incentivizes us to do everything quickly. You wake up in the morning, you grab your phone, there are 400 WhatsApp messages, the bills they ask for, email, the amount of stuff, Instagram, everyone's beautiful life. And we live in a constant rush, in urgency. Everything is done now. When I understood this, I realized that I was being a slave to other people's problems. I was being a slave to the lives of others, watching how much fun they were having on social media. And that's when I understood that the concept of truth, that what I had to apply was presence, being here and now. And that led me to not use my phone in the morning. I've proven it. If I wake up in the morning and use my phone, read WhatsApp, read Instagram, I start the day like crap. Proven. Because I start the day thinking about other people's problems, a about other people's lives and not about what's really important. When I am present, doing things here and now, everything flows. Don't act on force. It has to happen. I have to do this. No, no, no, quite the opposite. And this principle made me move forward much faster. How crazy, right? Instead of so much urgency, so much here and now, presence, being calm makes me move forward much faster. The second one is certainty. And you're going to love this look. Certainty. It's one of the principles that every entrepreneur, every person who's starting out should know. Certainty, what happens? Many people are constantly doubting, changing their minds. And it's because the launches work that people like this type of content. They constantly change their minds, their strategies, and this was going to wear them down because they're constantly looking outside. Oh, I'm going to change my mentor, I'm going to change my course, I'm going to change my social networks, I'm going to change my type of content. And you know why this happens? Because they don't trust their path, because they're not seeing immediate results. Since they don't see immediate results, they don't trust their path. And I'll tell you one thing, look for security outside, because you can't stand your own uncertainty. And being an entrepreneur is having the certainty that you don't know what's happening yet, but you do know how it's going to end. Let me give you an example. Imagine that you go to the cinema to see a movie, and in the middle of the movie, the prince meets the princess. They fall in love. But suddenly the prince is called to war and he, with his sword and shield, kisses her on the forehead and decides to leave. At that moment you think, oh, what a feeling that is. How exciting. But you already know how the movie is going to end. You already know that when the war is over, the prince is going to return to the castle to see the princess and be able to kiss her. So you don't care what happens, you're not going to suffer, because you know that in the end the prince will come and kiss the princess. And this is being an entrepreneur. Of course there is uncertainty. Of course, there are many times when you make an effort, you work, and you don't see immediate results. And that's where I ask you to have certainty, to know how the movie is going to end. Because when you know how the movie is going to end, you don't care about everything that happens in between, because you trust the process. So certainty is like that internal GPS that doesn't stop even when the road is full of bumps. And understanding this concept that we must have certainty. Hey, I didn't know how much I was going to generate with my first launches. Now, more or less, when I launch, I. I already know how much money I'm going to generate. I know how many sales we're going to have. There's a lot of experience behind it. But at the beginning, I didn't know. The only thing I had left was to be certain. Hey, sooner or later this is going to come out. It's going to come out. And that's when you allow yourself to trust the process. Because undertaking something is living in uncertainty. It's never going to go away. There are people who say, no, no, no. There comes a point where I'm not going to have any more uncertainty. I'm always going to know what's going to happen. No, entrepreneurs constantly live in that by then. That's right. And the only thing that keeps you there is certainty. Foreign. Let's go to the next one. Let's go to the next principle. The next principle is this. I love giving value and charging. Donnie, what do you mean by giving value and charging? Explain this to me. I don't understand. What do you mean by giving value? No, no, I don't really understand a lot of people. And it's happened to me. I charged little or not at all, for fear of being judged, for fear of being labeled as materialistic. I even gave away the sessions instead of understanding that. What I know is that my knowledge is transformative, that my time has value. And I understood that people don't value what's free, and neither do you. Imagine that you go to your favorite restaurant, the one you like the most, and you eat delicious food. The service is incredible. And when you ask for the bill at that five star restaurant with one star Michelin, where you are, you have to make an appointment a year in advance to be there, and you ask for the bill, how much will it be? €300? €500? €1,000? And then the chef comes to you, one hand in front, the other behind, and tells you, no, we don't charge here. Here we do it with love. What would you think? Something's not right. This isn't sustainable. And the same thing happens here. Many people who want to start a business have an internal trap. They confuse giving value with not charging. And that's not how it works. Because if you don't learn to sell what you have, you're going to burn out. You're never going to make money. And you don't charge out of ego, you charge out of respect for the value you deliver. And the problem is that if you don't believe it yourself, no one else is going to do it for you. Legend has it that there was a healer who walked through the forest, through the Putumayo here in Colombia, giving away his medicines. And people accepted them. But when he received them, he would leave them on the ground, throw them away. No one took him seriously. And one day, tired of people throwing away his medicines and everything he brought him collecting plants, he said, I'm going to charge for them. And the day he decided to put a price on it, that's when people started to value medicine. That's why you should never give your digital product away for free, not even to your friends. Why? Because they're not going to value it. Because they're not going to consume it. People don't value free stuff. And neither would you. Fourth, look, it says here, hey, how, and this is very interesting, how are they going to pay me €1,000 for an hour of my time? And I know that when people say to me, how, hey, Donnie, do you do one on one sessions? I say, yeah, it's €1,000. Hey, €1,000 for an hour of my time. No, no, it's not €1,000 for an hour of my time. You're paying for the more than six years that I've invested more than 3 million euros, generated all the sweat and tears that it took me to learn this and that I can now impart in an hour of my time. That's what you're paying for. Then you realize that it's not so much what you know, but what you do with what you know. Let's move on to the next principle. Principle number four. Take note. Take note. Principle number four. It's about waiting until you improve to start sharing. Wait until you improve to start sharing. And this happens to the vast majority of us. Take note. Because I really know that I really like the practical part, the methodology. And if I'm doing this and sharing this, it's because it has an impact that you can't even imagine. And you don't need to understand it. Just feel each one of these principles will unlock you. Because they did it for me. Understanding this made me progress much faster. Wait until you improve to start sharing. I'm a big sinner of this here. When I started my business, you know that my first digital product was about how to get over a breakup. And the first thing I did was, hey, there are better people. There's Tony Robbins, who has a million followers. I'm going to wait to educate myself more. I'm going to wait to go to more events. I'm going to wait to read more books. I'm going to wait to. And you never start doing it. You never start sharing. Because happiness is a tr. The person who rides a bike today dreams of riding the bus. The person who rides the bus today dreams of riding the car. The person who rides the car today dreams of riding the plane. The person who rides the plane dreams of riding the private jet. We constantly want more. We're not enough. And that fear of not being enough is the only thing that's holding back your growth. Because if you're not happy with who you are, you'll never be happy with what you have. Quote the year was 2019. I hadn't started my business yet. I was working at Burger King. And I went on a Saturday at two in the afternoon to buy the day's groceries. They're pretty big supermarkets here in Spain. And so when I walk through the supermarket door on a sunny day, there were quite a few people in Madrid. And I was going to go in. I was wearing my headphones, my tracksuit. I had come to do sports, and I found a lady. She was about 60, 65 years old, rather unkempt in appearance, and she was on the floor with her son, wearing clothes that were several days old, unwashed and somewhat dirty. She was barefoot, her feet were black. She had a sad look on her face. You know when they tell you that the eyes are the reflection of the soul and you can see all the pain in someone? I remember that I was going in with my music on, and suddenly there was something that stopped me. And I looked at the lady and a shiver ran through my body. How is it possible? A lady with a daughter who doesn't even have enough to eat, who is here begging at the door all day long? How the hell is this possible? And now I turned the other way and continued. I went into the supermarket, bought cookies, bought water, and when I went to pay, there were four or five people in front of me, waiting and when it was my turn, I put the things on the belt to check out. I immediately went back to the store. I grabbed them and turned around. It was a feeling inside me. I didn't even know what was happening. I grabbed the cookies, grabbed the water and turned around. I put them back and bought turkey and bread. 4.50. A loaf of bread and a bit of turkey. 4.50. I left for the day, turned left and gave it to the lady. I didn't have much money. My salary was €800 at the end of the month. I had less than €100 left at the end of the month. €50 was what it cost me. I made her happy, and I was the happiest person in the world. Because there are people who say, no, no, I'm going to wait until I have €1,000 to start a business. And that's how I start a business. You're never going to a business. I'm going to wait until I have everything ready to start a business and share what I know. You're never going to do it. Because if you're not happy with what you have, you'll never be happy with what you have. If you're not able to teach what you have, you'll never teach anything with what you achieve. And that's the trap. We're constantly waiting to be better, Waiting to have money to start a business, waiting to have time to start a business. Waiting for, hey, you can start with what you have. Behind all that is masked fear. Mask fear. Let's go with the fourth principle. Look, the fourth principle is. And I've experienced this very closely, and I've also experienced it recently. And it's about starting a business. It's about giving without expecting anything in return. Without expecting anything in return. You might say, Donnie, what are you telling me? That I should earn? In other words, that I should give, Create content? Give away my digital products without charging for them? No, I ask you to listen to me so that you understand what I mean by this. You know that there are already more than 1,000 students in the launch incubator. And I have a lot of experience seeing what they do. And what the vast majority do is they are constantly offering their products without sharing content. The launch arrives. Now it's time. Let's create content. The launch ends. That's it. Until the next launch. It doesn't work like that. It doesn't work like that. You're just waiting to receive money in return. Okay, but that ends, I promise you. It happened to me when I was 22, I was earning so much money that money was no longer a motivation. You have to find a purpose much bigger than money and feel connected to that and give without expecting anything in return. When I know if a project is going to work and when it's not going to work, it's when one does it for the money and when another does it for purpose. How do I know when one does it for the money and another does it for purpose? The one who does it for the money only expects applause, only expects money in return. Those who do it for a purpose don't care if their video has 100, 200 or 1,000 views, because they are motivated by something much bigger than money. And consequently they make money. Because this is what entrepreneurship is all about. Entrepreneurship is about giving without expecting anything in return. Before I released my first course on how to get over a breakup, I had recorded dozens of videos that five people watched. Ten people, many times, even my friends and family, and many times even to make fun of me. But I kept sharing because the more I give, the more I have to give. The problem is that you only publish when you want to sell. And that's why no one listens to you. We are always giving, expecting something in return. In entrepreneurship, in life, in relationships, I give you a flower and I expect a bouquet of roses in return. And I have experienced it, and it continues to happen to me. Two months ago, I brought my parents from Colombia to Spain and. Sorry. From Spain to Colombia. And while I was in Colombia, on an island with the house. Paid for, everything paid for. It was my birthday, April 29th. And I look at how the ego is always so manipulative. On my birthday, I expected, hey, some little detail. My parents aren't doing very well financially, but not even something financial. Some little detail, a letter, something. And I never received it. And then at that moment, I felt like anger had taken over me. It was hugging every part of my body. And look, I knew that the following week was my father's birthday. And what was the first thing I thought? I'm not going to give him anything at all. Let him feel what I felt there. And I said, but I'm not like that. I'm a loving, providing, loyal, thoughtful person. Why should I stop acting the way I am because of what others do? And so I immediately opened Amazon and bought my father a gift. Not because of what he had done to me, but because. But because of who I am. You share content because of who you are, regardless of what others do or say. Because when you know who you are, you stop begging for crumbs. But in the society we live in, we are constantly waiting for applause. We upload a video. Oh, how many views it has, how many likes, how many people have seen it. We seek applause. But when you are capable and it is difficult, it still happens to me. But when you are capable of giving without expecting anything in return, I promise you that success is assured. But for that, you must know who you are. You must be clear about yourself. In psychology it is called self concept, what you think about yourself. I invite you to do this exercise. When you finish this class, who am I? What is my vision of myself? Who am I? And when you know who you are, it is easy to make decisions. If I am a loving person, why wouldn't I give this to my parents? If I am a consistent person, why wouldn't I record this class or this content? If I am talking about giving without expecting anything, that changes. Do you understand? And I will give you one last principle and that will be it. I am glad you are enjoying it. And it is principle number six, which is dedication. Look. Dedication before perfection. What do I mean by dedication before perfection? This is very simple. Look, when you want to undertake something, you usually never do it. You may say, donnie, what do you mean, I never do it? No, because you are always preparing something. You are always waiting for the ideal moment, the perfect idea. And you have not understood that undertaking something is launching imperfectly and correcting it later. Because it is not that you are ready, it is not that you are prepared. It is that you do not want to expose yourself. Period. A woman dreamed of singing. She was good. She had a voice that delighted the birds. But she always said she wasn't ready, that she had to train a little more, that she had to, hey, wait until she had a good microphone. And the years went by. She got older, had children, got married, died, and never sang. She died with the music inside her. And no one will remember her voice because she never dared to share it. And the thing is, the best ideas are in the cemetery. An idea in itself is worthless. So the imperfect message that arrives will always be worth much more than the perfect message that never gets out of practice. So I ask you to take practical action today. Today it could be a post, a direct message uploading that image. Just one thing, but do it. Because what's holding you back is not the thing itself. It's that you're not doing it. It's that you're not doing it. I wanted to share this class of internal patterns. Because in the end, there is a strategic part of methodology to entrepreneurship, but there is also a very, very important internal part. And this is coming from someone who has always been squared. Two plus two is four, four plus two is six. And give it all to me in numbers and letters. And little by little, I've realized that unlocking this more spiritual part, more connection with oneself beyond numbers and letters, has improved my relationships. It has improved the relationship I had with myself. It has improved my entrepreneurship. And that's why I'm sharing this, because it changed my life. And I know that it can help many of you who may be in the same situation. What did you think of today's class? You can share it in the chat. See you later. Remember that all classes are on Tuesdays and Sundays. That is next Tuesday we'll see you with the class where I'm going to show you how an info product gave me total freedom. I'm going to show you how that whole process went so that you can replicate it. It's important that you subscribe so that YouTube can write or notify you about the classes. Also, it's very easy for you to be here live. Even ask me if you activate notifications, that is Come to the next class and click on receive notification. I'll share the screen with you. Here, look, you come to the YouTube channel. Go live and come to this class. Click on Activate notification. Go to the next one, click on Receive notification. And in this way you will be able to be live and direct in each of the classes. Guys, thank you. Really, this live is very important to me. For a moment I thought about whether to do it or not, because it even gets a little bit out of, let's say, the topic that I've been doing. And hey, how nice that you liked it. Maria Victoria Bernardita Dora, you by mar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I'll see you in two days. What.
