Introduction to Data Science in Python

Welcome to the course. My name is Hilary Greene Lerman and I'll be your guide to the wonderful world of data science with Python. In this course, you'll begin your journey by learning about Python, one of the premier languages for data analysis and machine learning. This course is meant for absolute beginners, even if you've never written a line of code in your life. You'll be able to follow this course and witness the power of Python to perform data science while you learn. You use data to solve the mystery of Bayes, the kidnapped golden retriever. You'll use techniques like handwriting analysis, forensic accounting, and organic sample analysis to find our missing pet. Along the way, you'll become familiar with basic Python syntax and popular data science modules like matplotlib for charts and graphs and Pandas for tabular data.
