Effective AI governance requires the whole organization, not just a board or tech team. It needs top-down direction from senior leadership combined with middle and bottom-up participation across every level.
What does good governance look like? Like what's the point of it? Like what happens when governance goes right?
It really is a whole of organization effort. It isn't just the board of directors or, you know, the tech governance around a specific technology. It's a fully integrated, holistic approach to governance. And I mentioned before the top down, the middle app and the bottom up. And I talk about that in my book Governing Pandora, in the sense that this a chapter I call Leadership. And it's about the 360 governance basically. And by 360 I mean everybody has a piece of this, but it takes the governance from the top to make it happen.
