If your AI system is high-risk under the EU AI Act, you must comply fully. For gray-zone cases, aim for conformity anyway: safer AI builds trust and gives you a competitive edge.
Chapters
The general implication for those who deploy AI would be to check their systems against the use cases in the regulation that are considered to be high risk. If it is, then of course you need to follow all the rules in there applicable. But also I would say if it's in the gray area, in a gray area that might or might not be. Look, the intention behind the AI act is to make those systems safer. Safe means more trust. It means a competitive edge on the market. None of these are considered bad systems, it's just that they're made safer. So in the gray areas around those use cases, I think that the implication would be to try to get as close to conformity as possible. But that's a whole nother story. How to do that.
