Yesterday Fossil brought us to his new favorite place, Golden Beach, Victoria. Just after he backed into his spot and parked up for the night, we followed our shadows out to the beach and looked down 90 Mile Beach off to the left, and then 90 Mile Beach off to the right, and we wondered what the sunrise might look like here because the sun was setting behind us. Stay for the end of this video and you'll get to see the beautiful sunrise the next morning. As you come up the stairs from the beach, to the left there is a fantastic barbecue area that was clean when we looked at it, and, uh, two gas barbecues. And across is the toilet. The toilet is next to the playground, and the playground is next to the park, and the park has between it, uh, 150 meters from the toilet to 200 meters from there to the shower, and at least that far again out to your vehicle. Next is the general store, which has foodstuffs, fishing bait and tackle, and even a complete takeaway where you can order just about anything you want. So here's the showers— hot showers, $4 for 4 minutes. And when you come in to take yours, if you bring 4 $1 coins, you'll have to magically change them into $2 coins so that you can have a shower. There's donation site here where you can use your credit card and another one where you can use your credit card to buy water. They have a plant nursery community area right in the Caravan, uh, RV park, and, uh, you can come on a Saturday for that or anytime for the community garden and, uh, see what they're growing and participate and even collect some veggies. It's that time of the year. And you can also, if you're an avid reader while you're in the RV park, bring a book and and Swap One. They've hidden them in the fridge, but not very well cuz they wrote it on the outside of the fridge.
And here's all their books. After we camped up for the night, here was the sunrise the next morning.
And I'll leave you to enjoy the sounds of beach.
