Entry to heaven comes from accepting Jesus, not from checking off good deeds. When God's kingdom lives inside you, you naturally start acting like Jesus: serving others, caring for people who can't repay you, inviting them into faith. The outward change shows salvation happened, not the other way around.

So much of what we do with— what do you have to do to get to heaven? We talk about this all the time. You don't have to do anything to get to heaven. Heaven gets into you when you accept Jesus. And when you have the kingdom of God within you, you start acting like Jesus, you start loving like Jesus. And that's why both groups of people say, "When? When did we see you like that?" Because they're not out there going, "I've got this list today that I have to do to prove that I'm saved." I've got this list to do to make sure that I'm saved. It's not that at all. The kingdom of God has gotten into them, gotten into us, and so we go out and we make a difference in the world because, not because we have to, but because we see Jesus. We see him needing us everywhere, and so we give and we care and we make a place and we invite. Jesus says invite the people that can't reward you back, because then your reward will be in the kingdom of heaven.
