Two presenters tell the Noah's Ark story to kids with sound effects and audience participation. Noah builds the ark while townspeople mock him, the flood lasts 40 days, and he sends out a raven and dove to find dry land. The story ends with a rainbow and a song about God's love.

And so people came, and I suppose it was kind of like going to Dreamworld. Because you imagine, it's been there for 120 years, and everyone who came to this town would be like, "You've gotta go see the Kuku man who's building the big boat in the middle of a field." And so everyone would come along and they'd look at him and they'd laugh and they'd make fun of him, and Noah would get out there and say, "You must listen to me, the time is coming soon and the rain's gonna fall, and when the rain falls there's gonna be a huge flood." And the people said, "There has never been a flood here, how can there be water here? This is way far away from any water." There's no way there will ever be a flood here. He said, "You don't understand, the whole world is gonna be covered by water. The sky is gonna break loose and the ground is gonna open up and water is gonna come from everywhere." And people said, "Nah, that's just ridiculous." And some people would listen and they would see the conviction and the passion in Noah's face and they would think, "Maybe he's right." And they would start to consider that maybe they would join him. And then somebody else in their family would say, "Oh, don't be stupid. He's just a crazy old man." He's just fooled his family. Don't get involved with that. And they said, yeah, you're probably right. And so nobody, for 120 years, nobody helped Noah. Nobody planned on getting on the ark. And finally when the time came to get on the ark, all these animals just started coming from everywhere. Just without being invited. They just, evidently angels were getting them, and in groups. Some of the animals they brought in twos, a boy and a girl, so that they could make more babies later. And some of the animals came in sevens because they were the kind of meat that God said that the people could eat. And so those kind of animals were— there was extra so there would be food to eat on the ark. And these animals just came and they got on the ark. And all the people were watching. They went, hm, how is he doing this? We know how he built the ark. He spent a lot of time and a lot of work building this ark. How is he getting these animals to come? And for some reason, the people still didn't believe. They probably started passing things around, oh, he's using magic. The power of evil or something, but people just discounted it. And still, when the time came and Noah and his family walked up the ramp to get on the ark, and Noah turned around and he preached his final sermon, and he said, "Please, God has promised that the rain has come, and he's let you guys have plenty of time. The rain is coming very soon. The ark is finished, the animals have come in, you've got to get on the ark." And the people just laughed at him. And they kind of made fun of him, and some people threw rotten vegetables at him. Imagine all the splatter marks on the side of the ark from all the people that had made fun of him and thrown things at the ark. And so Noah got on the ark, and when he got on the ark, this huge door that was on the ark, like the ramp that went up to the door, and the door was just closed down as the ramp, and this huge ramp just lifted all by itself. There were no ropes and pulleys that Noah pulled on with his family. God just lifted up the door and closed the ark. And the people watched. And they waited. And one day went by and nothing happened. And people started laughing, coming down every day to laugh at these 8 people stuck in a boat with a bunch of stinking animals. And kind of people giggling at them saying, "How long are you gonna stay in there, Moses? You know, I mean Noah? If you stay in there too long, I'm gonna, you're gonna, you know, You're gonna die of the stench. And Noah and his family would get up on the edge of the ark and say, please, you can still make a decision. You can climb up the side of the ark. We can get you in. Please come. And people just laughed at them. And 2 days went by. 3 days went by. Now I need to teach you guys something. Okay. You have to do what I do, okay? Who can do this?
Okay?
That's the first thing. So if I'm pointing over here doing this, I want you guys to do that. And keep doing it until I come back and give you something new to do, okay? Okay, who can do this? Okay, and when I go like this, you can stop. Can I move your area? Okay, so we've got that one and that one. Who can snap? Oh good, lots of you can snap. Okay, that's the third one. And then who can do this? Okay, and then the fourth one?
Okay.
So, this is what happened. The sixth day went by. And then the seventh day, and Noah and his family had been on the ark for a whole week. And nothing had happened. And the people started laughing at them. And the people started saying, "Nothing's gonna happen, Noah. It's never gonna happen. There's never gonna be a flood." And as they were saying this, a wind started. And this wind blew and blew. And it got louder and louder. And the wind was blowing. And the people started feeling this kind of moisture in the air. And they thought, what is that? What is that sound? It's such a strong wind. But I hear something off in the distance. What's that sound off in the distance? And they could hear something. They thought, what is it? It's getting closer. And pretty soon, a rain cloud moved over the ark. And soon the whole sky filled in. And then it got darker and darker.
And then the rain really started to fall. And the people started running around banging on the side of the ark. They said, let us in, Noah, let us in.
Can you guys stomp as well?
Very brave. Keep it this speed. Okay, so tell us, anyone stopping, if you can, in the background? And slapping your legs? And this happened here? This happened here? And it was really raining, the rain was coming down, and Noah said, "It's too late." And people were standing on the side of the ark, and the water started rising. Keep going, keep going! Keep going, keep going! And the water started rising and rising, and the boat The ark lifted up in the air. Koi! Koi! Huge thunderstorm! And the boat started to float away.
And soon after 40 days, after 40 days, it was just a light rain. But everywhere that they looked, all they could see was water. They couldn't see any mountaintops. They couldn't see any houses. They couldn't see anything else except water. Occasionally they'd see a bird soaring over looking for somewhere to land, and the bird would land on the ark. And then one day they listened, and all they could hear was a slight breeze. There was no rain anymore, but the earth was still covered with water. And for a year there was nowhere for the boat to land. It just moved around, and every once in a while it would rain a little bit, then it would get quiet again. Okay, good. And then after a year, the ark bumped into something.
Boom!
And then as the water started going down, the ark kind of wiggled down the side of a mountain, and it was floating near a mountain and kept banging against it until it got to a valley. Boom! And it caught in this little valley on the side of the mountain, and the water kept draining away, and somehow the ark was just precariously just there, but it didn't— it just kind of Sunk into a spot. And Noah started looking. And he looked out. And his family looked out. And they could see out in the distance. They could see a tree here or there on the mountainside. But it had been drowned for a year. And so it was dead. And so one day Noah got a little bird. And he said to the bird, fly. And go and see if you can find anything. So the bird flew away. It was gone for a very, very, very long time. And the bird flew around. And then the bird came back. And they said, "No, the bird couldn't find anywhere to land, so that's why he's come back to us." And then a little while later, maybe a month later or something, Noah sent out another bird, this time a little dove. And the dove flew out and it came back, and what do you think was in its mouth? A twig with a leaf on it. And Noah said, "Oh, there's things happening out there. There's trees starting to sprout." And so they pushed the huge door, "Grrr, boom," and the door of the ark fell down. And Noah and his family and all the animals, they left out of the ark and they went down into a valley. And when Noah got down into the valley, he got a bunch of big stones. And what do you think he built? He built a big altar. A big altar. This was the way that they worshiped God back then. And he sacrificed an animal on the altar and he burnt it to God. And after the sacrifice. He looked up and he remembered God saying that when the flood was over that God would send a promise. And as Noah looked, and he looked off in the distance, he saw something. What do you think he saw? He did. He looked out. You sing this with me. He looked out and he saw that his God loved him. My God loves me.
And all the wonders I see, the rainbows shine through my window, my God loves me.
One more time.
My God loves me, and all the wonders I see, The rainbow shines through my window, my heart runs with joy.
