My FATBOY Ebike review - 500w electric motor, 32ah battery, 20in wheels, weight loss made fun!

A creator reviews his Fat Boy e-bike, which has a 500W motor and 32Ah battery, three times larger than typical e-bike batteries. He's used it for Uber Eats deliveries in Melbourne and says it's made hill climbing and long rides possible for the first time in a decade.

Hi, this is a review of what I'm calling my Fat Boy e-bike. Starts with that 500-watt motor on the front wheel you can see there, and then it goes through that frame. That frame is 150 kilo registered, so it can carry deliveries around the city in Melbourne, which this bike was an Uber Eats delivery vehicle for the last 9 months, and now it's mine, and it's strong enough and heavy enough to carry me around, which is wonderful. That battery is about 3 times the size of a normal e-bike battery. That's a 32 amp battery and can go for hours and hours and hours. And the bike itself is able to take me on long rides, and I'm able to get exercise like I haven't been able to in probably more than a decade because I can go for walks, but riding a bike was too hard. There I am, thumbs up. Here I am climbing a hill, and what the e-bike does— and all e-bikes do this— as you pedal, it allows you to do the amount of work you can do, and then it assists you from there. And by assisting you, it makes it possible for you to do what you can't do, in my case, or go further than you could. There's the ride we did tonight. Here is the assist motor, low, medium, and high on the right there. I usually keep it on medium. And on the left is the actual gear changer for the rear wheel where you do the work. So there's you do the work and the motor does the work, and it helps you. Here I am using the throttle to get across quickly across the road, and here is the throttle. You can see it there on the right, or you can't really, but I'm going to turn it. That makes me move, and then if I turn it again, I'll go even faster. There's a bell you can press as well, and the speedometer, and a torch. This e-bike was a delivery vehicle in the city of Melbourne. There's my commute to work. And there are other bikes like it available. To buy a new one like this that's on the market would be about double what I got it for, but the gentleman who sold me this one said he has a couple more that he wouldn't mind selling if anyone else is interested. Let me know.
