In this short devotional video, the primary speaker (Speaker A) recounts the biblical episode where mothers bring their children to see Jesus, but the disciples initially try to turn them away. A compassionate adult intervenes, allowing the children to approach Jesus, who embraces and blesses each child, teaching that entering heaven requires childlike humility and love. The narrative emphasizes Jesus' deep love for children and promises a future embrace. After the story, Speaker A asks Speaker B to sing the familiar hymn “Jesus Loves Me” repeatedly, expressing gratitude for the message. The two then engage in a brief prayer, with Speaker A thanking Jesus for love and asking for daily mutual love, while Speaker B offers translation assistance. The exchange concludes with mutual affirmations of “Amen,” reflecting a warm, encouraging worship experience delivered remotely, likely via Skype, to an orphanage audience.
Chapters
Jesus loved children. And one time there were a bunch of moms who brought their children to see Jesus. But some of the grown-ups didn't want to let the people interrupt Jesus. And so they said, no, you can't see Jesus, go away. And some of the children started to cry. And some of the moms even had tears in their eyes because they had come a long ways to see Jesus. And they had promised their children that they would see Jesus. But now some of the disciples were telling the children to go away. Amen. And some of the children were very sad, but then they heard another grown-up's voice, and it was a man who said, don't stop the children, let them Come and see me. And the children came and sat on Jesus's knee. They each took turns and Jesus blessed them and gave them a hug. And then Jesus told his disciples and all the other adults who were listening, "If you want to get into heaven, you have to be like one of these children." Because these children love me very much, and I love them too. And Jesus loves each one of you children very, very much. And one day he's going to hold you on his lap, and he's going to give you a big hug, and he's going to tell you, I love you very much. Amen. The end.
Amen.
