I'm going to show you something really special right now, but I need you to make me a promise. What I'm going to show you is called the Teabag Gospel. But before I show it to you, you need to promise that when you show this to your friends, because you will want to, you probably all have teabags in your cupboard. I want you to promise me that you won't do this trick without sharing the Teabag Gospel as well. Now, what you need to do this trick is a few things, and you'll see as we go through that you'll see the different steps that we take. But if you can't remember them all, you go to our website and have a look. But make sure if you're doing it that you have a parent or a grown-up nearby helping you or watching you so that it's safe. Okay, here's how it goes. Now I'm just going to tell you the Gospel, but I'm going to use a tea bag to tell this to you. We are like a tea bag. You and me, we're like a tea bag. Inside of us there's all this black stuff, this dark stuff. What's that stuff called? Sin. Sin, that's right. We have evil in us because we live on a sinful planet and we're part of a sinful humanity. But we have something pretty special. Well, first of all, we've got a problem. We're connected by a string to this, this mean guy who likes to pull our strings, likes to yank us around. His name is the devil. But you know what? When we meet Jesus, Jesus is like a pair of scissors, and he just comes in and he, first of all, he snips us free from the devil. But he doesn't want to just leave us laying down there saying, okay, now you're free from the devil. He has a plan for us. He has some stuff that He's going to do. First of all, Jesus says, "I want to clean you up. I want to get rid of all that black stuff inside of you." And so He cuts us open. Well, He doesn't cut us open. He gets rid of all that stuff. Look at that. And now there we are, okay? Here's us, nothing bad in us anymore. We're over here. Jesus has forgiven us and He's cleansed us. And here's all of our sin. Look at that. And you know what it says in the Bible? As far as the east is from the west, Jesus separates us from our sin. It even says that he takes our sin and he throws it into the deepest part of the ocean. And then when he shows us our record, it's clean, it's white, it's pure. But he doesn't finish it there even. Jesus looks out at us now and he says, "Look at them. I've died on the cross for them. I set them free from sin and from Satan. I've cleaned them and now they're ready, they're ready to The record is cleared, but He says to His disciples just before He went back to Heaven, He said, "You know what? I'm going to go back to Heaven, and when I go, I'm going to send somebody special to enter your life and to set you on fire for Me. And what I want you to do is to burn for Me forever." Now, what He did was He went back to Heaven, the disciples prayed for 10 days, they prayed, and they asked God to help them and send that special person, and the Spirit came. And when the Holy Spirit comes, who knows what it says in the book of Acts that the Holy Spirit looked like? Anyone? Flame! Tongues of fire! And the Holy Spirit came— huh, whoa! We have flying fire! The Holy Spirit came and the Holy Spirit was a light and there was flame. And this flame, lots of flames came down and they touched each one of those people and they'll touch you and they'll touch me when we have said to Jesus, I want to give my life to you. And then he lights us up and he fills us up. And he says, I'm not going to leave you like that. Even one day I'm going to come back and take you up with me to live in heaven. And we're going to be up there for a very long time. For 1,000 years we'll be in heaven. And after the 1,000 years goes by, we're going to come back down to earth. Here it comes. We're going to come back down to earth. And you know what's going to happen when we get back down here? Jesus says, "I'm not gonna live somewhere distant from you anymore because I've made you pure. I'm gonna build my city right here and I am gonna live with you right here on earth forever and ever." That's the teabag gospel. Now I challenge you, when you share it, make sure you tell the whole story. Don't just go wasting teabags. Make sure you share the story of Jesus and what he's done for you. Thank you for listening.
