Mike Michalowicz ranks three types of clients: good ones pay on time and are happy, no clients beat bad ones because they free up your time, and bad clients drain money through complaints and non-payment. Losing bad clients, even temporarily, makes room for better work.

Welcome to Honor Roll. And now, here's your host, Mike Michalowicz. Hey, welcome back to Honor Roll. I'm your host, Mike Michalowicz, author of those books, the Toilet Paper Entrepreneur and the Pumpkin Plan. And as I always like to do to get started, I want to thank our sponsors, though. Did I say though? So thank you to Skype, Thank you to American Express, thank you to Dex Digital, Thank you to Trevenous Group. And. And our newest sponsor, nextiva. Woo. I don't know if I'm ever going to call off the sponsors again. Today's tip, we're going to talk about the three types of clients, and they are in this order of quality. Good clients, no clients, and bad clients. Now you're thinking like. Mike. What are you. You lost your mind? I. I need any client I can get. I am desperate for clients. For God's sake, Mike, give me clients. The thing is, no clients are better than bad clients, because bad clients are like this. You render your service and they don't pay for you. They complain all the time. They take more resources than you have available to you. They actually cost you money. Good clients are ones that have clear expectations of what you're going to do, are. Are thrilled when you do it and pay you on time. No clients are second, because no clients means you now have the time available to find more good clients. It's the bad clients that keep holding you down. They keep sucking me back in. You know what that's from? I know you do, Michael. Every time I try to get out, they just keep sucking me back in. Sam.
