What's something about money that most of us believe to be true that's not? I think it's the lottery winner myth that if you or I just came into a large sum of money, that all of our problems would be fixed. And the reality is, until you assert control over money, until you are able to manage it, any amount of money will likely fade away instantly. And the reason is we don't know how to assert control over it. We don't know how to categorize it. So that money comes in, we revert to, I want this, I want that, we can do this and we can do that. And the money dwindles so quickly. And I'm not just saying this from theory, I'm saying it from observation, a personal experience. When I sold my first business, I had become a millionaire in my early, uh, 30s. And I was like, oh my gosh, I'm on top of the world. I can do all these amazing things. And I blew my money left and right because I didn't have control or authority over it. For me, it became a great reset. So this mythology of more money is better is mislabeled. It's really more control over money is better, and then more money helps a lot.
