Welcome to the second and final part of our New Constructs tutorial for the Custom Stock Screener. Please see part 1 of this video for a tutorial on step 1, selecting criteria. Step 2 of 3 allows you to select the companies to screen. The Tickers tab is selected by default. Paste or type the tickers of your stocks in the box below. Tickers can be pasted from lists in Word, and Excel. Tickers can also be typed in the box and should be separated by a space, comma, or semicolon. Tickers are also not case sensitive. To add your tickers to the list, click Add. To select stocks by sector, click the Sector tab. Unless you would like to add companies to your existing list, click Remove All. Select the Sector, Industry Group, Industry, and Sub-Industry from the dropdown lists and click Add. To select companies by index, click the Index tab. Again, I'll choose to remove all the stocks from my existing list. Select the index from the dropdown list and click Add. To select companies from a saved portfolio, Click the Saved Portfolios tab. Select a stock portfolio from the dropdown list and click Add. Please note that to select a stock portfolio from the dropdown list, you must create a portfolio first. To view the tutorial for the My Portfolios page, click the banner appearing on your screen. To proceed to step 3 and view the results, click Next. Step 3 presents the results of the companies you selected in step 2, that meet the criteria you created in step 1. The numbered column header corresponds with the criteria you selected. You can sort the results by any criterion simply by clicking the column header. You can also generate a model for the company by clicking the ticker link. To delete a company from the list, simply click the Remove button. If you're satisfied with the list of companies in the results and would like to reference them again in the Custom Stock Screener, or create a portfolio, click Send to Edit Portfolios. This will direct you to the Edit Portfolios page of the My Portfolios tab. Again, to view the tutorial for creating portfolios in the Edit Portfolios page of the My Portfolios tab, click the banner appearing on your screen. Thanks for watching this tutorial.
