Welcome to the New Constructs tutorial for accessing and creating forecasts. The forecast page is located within the results tab of our company models. To access the forecast page, click forecast located on the blue ribbon. The forecast page allows you to view the default forecast and create your own forecasts that you can, in turn, view on the decisions page. All of our 3,000+ company models come populated with a default forecast based on consensus revenue growth estimates. To create your own neutral, optimistic, or pessimistic forecast, select the forecast you would like to create. Then click Edit. Enter your own estimates, in hundredths, for revenue growth, pretax profit margins, cash tax rates, incremental net working capital, and incremental fixed assets. For this demonstration, I'm only going to forecast revenue growth and NOPBT margin but the system allows you to forecast any of the aforementioned drivers. After you finish editing your forecast scenario, click Save. Repeat this process for all other forecast scenarios. Now that you've created your own forecast scenario, you can view it on the Decision page or DCF Review page. Thanks for watching. If you have any questions, please leave a comment.
