Welcome to the New Constructs tutorial for our Premium Fund Screener. Our Premium Fund Screener is a wonderful idea generation and portfolio protection tool. Subscribers can access our Premium Fund Screener by logging in and clicking the Fund Screener tab. They'll automatically be directed to the Premium Fund Screener by default. Guests will be directed to the Basic Fund Screener, where access to our ratings and reports for over 400 ETFs and 7,000 mutual funds is restricted. Our Premium Fund Screener lists the more than 400 ETFs and 7,000 mutual funds we cover sorted by overall rating, best to worst. For more information regarding our predictive ETF and mutual fund rating methodology, see the tutorial. You can sort the list by clicking any column header. You can also download our report for any fund by clicking the corresponding Download button in the Report column. Our premium fund screener allows you to screen ETFs or mutual funds in a variety of ways. You can choose the type of fund—ETFs, mutual funds, or both—by clicking the checkboxes. You can also choose funds by category, provider, or ticker by clicking the appropriate tab. The Category tab is selected by default. To select funds by category, Choose one of the 23 major fund categories and click Search. You can also select multiple categories to screen at once. For Mac users, hold down the Command and Option keys and select categories. For PC users, just hold down the Control key and select categories. Perhaps you're interested in mid- to large-cap ETFs with low total annual costs that hold value stocks. Uncheck the Mutual Fund Type checkbox and select Large Cap Value and Mid Cap Value. Then click Search. Click the Total Annual Cost column header to sort the results. Then choose the ETF that best fits your criteria. You can now do additional research on the funds you're interested in. We conveniently placed a download button next to each fund so you can access our detailed research report for the funds you're examining. To learn more about our ETF and mutual fund reports, see the tutorial. For subscribers interested in screening funds from a specific provider, we have you covered. Maybe you've already decided to invest in a mutual fund provided by American Funds, but haven't decided which fund. Click the Provider tab and select American Funds from the dropdown list containing over 400 providers, then click Search. Again, the results will be sorted by overall rating, best to worst. Sort the list by clicking any column header or download a report after you narrow down your selection. Perhaps a client has sent you a list of tickers he or she is interested in buying or selling. Or maybe you have a list of your own. The Ticker tab allows you to screen a list of funds by ticker. It's also the best way to get multiple ratings for ETFs and mutual funds at once. Click the Ticker tab and paste or type the list of tickers in the box below. Tickers can be pasted from lists in Word and Excel. Tickers can also be pasted from other sources they're copied from. You can also type tickers in the box. When typing tickers, separate them by a space comma, or semicolon. Tickers are also not case sensitive. Once your tickers are pasted or typed in the box, click Search to see the results. You now have a great starting point for your analysis. Just like the previous 2 examples, sort the results by clicking the column headers or download reports for more detailed analysis. Thanks for watching this tutorial.
