This video covers the main products and features of a free Gold membership to New Constructs through Scottrade. Scottrade members can access New Constructs directly through Scottrade by clicking on the New Constructs banner on the Stocks Overview page, or the Investor Tools page, or by clicking on the banner on any of the individual stock pages. The first time you log in, you will need to register your email. You'll need to access new constructs through these banners in your Scottrade account each time you log in. Scottrade members get a free Gold membership and free trades and discounts on upgrades to our Platinum and Pro memberships. As a Scottrade member, you can upgrade to Platinum for $49.50 a month and get 7 free trades from Scottrade, a $49 value, or upgrade to Pro for $124.50 a month and get 20 free trades, a $140 value. These packages offer you access to more tickers in your portfolios, additional screening tools, and special research reports unavailable to Gold members. Logging into New Constructs through Scottrade directs you to the My Portfolio page, where Scottrade Gold members can track 25 tickers in their custom portfolio. You can quickly add stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds to your portfolio that you are interested in, by typing their ticker into the text box and clicking Add. You get access to our ratings and research on all the tickers in your portfolio. Hitting the plus symbol next to any ticker will reveal additional details about our rating. You can see the full rating breakdown of what makes a stock attractive or dangerous based on its underlying fundamentals. You can also view our overall investment recommendation, a history of the ticker's rating, and the adjustments we make to turn accounting numbers into economic factors. You can download a PDF copy of our research report on a ticker by clicking on the green download arrow. On the My Portfolio page, you can track the number of changes and adds you have left for this quarter, change email settings to notify you immediately when one of your ticker's ratings changes, and download the portfolio as either a CSV or a printable PDF. Use the dropdown menu to view our Most Attractive Large and Small Cap Stocks and the Most Dangerous Large and Small Cap Stocks model portfolios. You can add any of these stocks directly to your portfolio by clicking the green cross. Our screeners allow you to search our coverage universe for tickers that meet your custom criteria. For the Stock Screener, you can screen using any of the highlighted criteria. The ETF and Mutual Fund Screener works the same way. Upgrade to a Platinum membership or higher for access to additional filters. Once you have set your screening criteria, click Filter to generate your results. You can add an individual ticker to your portfolio by clicking the green cross, or add all the tickers in the list by pressing Add All.
