Dean Graziosi shares three practices for momentum: stop asking how and find who's already done it, sell yourself daily on a clear future, and build repeatable systems through documented processes. He mixes tactical moves like hiring an assistant with stories about relationships and entrepreneurship.

What do I do? How do I do it so well? How do I document it? How do I hand it off to somebody else so I could work on the things that actually move the needle the most in my life? Welcome to the Dean Grazios Show. All success starts right here. Number one in my three top things to create momentum is never stop learning. You're like, oh, that was. That was magical. No, never stop learning. Be obsessed. Obsessed with self education. And you're here, so that means you are. But this is the one I want to share. And this originally came from my buddy, Dean Jackson. But I want you to think about one of the biggest breakthroughs in my life, and it's what's allowing our company to grow. Companies growing like crazy. And it's culture and it's having some of the other things we're going to talk about today to grow a company, but one of them is, is this. Who? Not how. Whenever I twenties, thirties, you know, whenever. Whatever decade I was in of my life, whenever I wanted to try something new, how do I do better on Instagram? How do I better on Facebook? How do I write this book? Our first instinct is how the hell do you do it? How do I start my knowledge business? How do I do my first mastermind or my first workshop or how do I create a community? And I just want you to think about this. How is stressful? I want to talk to you guys in a different way today because I'm feeling this, because I really want you to. I hope I can anchor this into you guys. So it's like sits in your soul like beef stew. I think of wholesome food or chicken soup. How does it sit in your soul? It's like, who is overwhelming? Or how is overwhelming? If I say I think you should get 25,000 followers on Instagram because you get momentum, you get to teach, you get to practice new ideas, you have a following. And when it's time to sell your real estate or sell your course or sell your mastermind, you got these loyal followers. They want to be a part of what you have because they're learning from you. They want your superpower. So go get 25,000 followers on Instagram. Now, if I said that to you and I said, and you said to yourself, how do I do it? It becomes overwhelming. I don't know about you. Especially when it's like, tech side of stuff. I don't understand. Some of you are tech savvy. I'm not. So, like, how is like, oh, my God, should I, should I, should I Like how. And when you replace how with who, oh my God, everything changes. So I want you to think about that. The whole. It could be a course, right? It's like if I said how I want you to extract what you know if you're one chapter ahead of someone else. This is the knowledge business blueprint that Tony and I created. If I said I want you to extract what you know, you should be ethically obligated and you should feel guilty if you don't extract what you know and share it with the world. If you die with knowledge in your head, that means you're doing a disservice to the world. Self education is going to fix the broken education system. I need you to extract what you know. I need you to share it with other people. I need you to make an impact on their life and I want you to make money, do it, and do it over and over and have the greatest opportunity in the world to make impact and profits. Go. And if you sat there and I said that to you and you said, how do I do that? Oh my God, where do you even start? What do you mean, extract what I know? And like, do I just like, pull it out? Do I, do I talk it? Do I tell people? Like, that is overwhelming. That is confusing, right or wrong. If I'm, if I'm hitting this right, give me a thumbs up. Like how is confusing. But when you replace how with who, then all of a sudden things start to change. With our knowledge business blueprint. So many of you on here are part of the knowledge business. You know, Tony and I took our knowledge. It took 60 years to figure out. We condensed decades in today's. We condensed decades into days and we built a course. That's the who. Tony and I is the who. We've done this before. And then we gave a blueprint so you could go take 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, and try to figure out how to do a mastermind or a workshop or build a community or do a master, you know, do a mastermind. Or you could get the who Dean and Tony and follow and say, oh, extracting what I know. Oh, I know exactly what I'm going. Oh, I know who to attract. Oh, I know how to market it. Oh, I know how to run it. All of a sudden, you replaced how with who. And that's what I want you to anchor in. This is how I'm growing my company so big and so many of my friends, even people, my peers, they're not growing as fast as they like. And I know it sounds simple. I'm like, because you're trying to figure out how to do it rather than who. I want you to really, like, get this into your soul. Like, get this into your soul. That it just means searching and seeking out and obsessing on self education. Because learning through your own trial and error is outdated. It doesn't go fast enough. I want to do this in every area of my life. If you want to invest in real estate, you could go figure it out. I had no one show me I wasn't smart enough to learn from anybody else. Took me 10 years to figure out. Or you could find the who that's already doing it and extract their knowledge and. And jump right in it. Right. So I know you're getting this, but what I want you to. What I want to leave this first section on is really understanding that self education is your answer to go faster. Don't be afraid to cut a check for speed. Learning through your own trial and error can take years. And you can figure it out, or you can find the right person, learn from them, and go faster. And all that does is start to create a culture of self education. A culture of who, not how, a culture of learning. Because when you're overwhelmed, when you. When you're frustrated, when you're confused, I know what it feels like. I know what it feels like when you're standing and it feels like there's 4,000 buttons to push and you don't know which ones to push. I spent 30 years as an entrepreneur. 34 years I've been confused, overwhelmed, sad, stressed, ready to give up more than any of you could ever imagine. You wouldn't think that. Now it's like, oh, no, Dean, you got everything. No, I've thought of giving up. I was scared. I wanted to hide. I had sleepless nights. And a lot of times I would look at the dashboard with all these lights and go. I don't know what to hit. I'm just screwed. And I wish someone would have just shaken me back then and said, because you're trying to figure out how to do it, you have no freaking idea how to do it. Go find the who. Go buy the course. Go read the book. Go get in the mastermind. Go hire the consultant. That makes sense. Give me a hell. Yes if it is. All right, that's the first part of my momentum. Second part is. And this is in the momentum side. But again, I have no way of how to tie tactical and momentum without anchoring in a little mindset. Sell yourself daily. Now, I could have named it anything. This is me, late night, making all my notes for you guys. But you got to sell yourself daily because here, if we're thinking about momentum, you want to go faster, Gain the self education, think, find the who, find the course, find the book, find the group to get into, find the consultant. Right, so now you're gaining. Oh, I would have went this way. I see that guy tried that way, that girl tried that way, they failed. I need to go this way. So now you're gaining knowledge from somebody who's already been there. But even with the best knowledge, if you don't have a compelling future, if your brain will tend to fixate on what could go wrong, you will understand why the momentum is not happening. You will think it's the tactics, you will think it's the book. You will think it's the course, you will think it's the coach when deep down, it's you. That sounded rude. I'm not trying to be rude. But think about, if I think about the biggest times in my life, I failed. I came up with some shit ass story on why no one supported me or why I didn't have the money, or I wasn't smart enough, or I didn't have the right team and people let me down, or my partner screwed me. All those things that cripple 98% of the world. But you're not the 98%, you're the 2%. You're here, you're learning. So we have to have this, this piece of personal growth, this mindset, to know that we have to have our compelling future. And once you have a compelling future, and that's your beacon, right? It's cloudy, it's the storm is brewing. But you got this beacon, this light tower, that's your compelling future, where is it that you want to go? It's a year from now. It's the best year of your life. You're living the life of abundance. You have the we you want the freedom, you want the confidence, you want the control of your time, you want that beacon of light, you need to write down that compelling future. And then you know what you have to do? You have to look at that stuff once a year. No, you have to look at it once a quarter. No. At least once a month. Hell no. Once a week. No. If you're not where you want to be and you write down your compelling future, your beacon of light, your light in the dust, in the clouds, in the storm, your light tower is your compelling future. Once you know that, I say you look at it every day. You have to sell yourself every day. Because every day the world is chipping away at us, telling us this isn't the right time. That's where people are a little more savvy than you. That's where people have more time. Because you're too busy with the family, you're too busy in your own business, you're too busy making someone else wealthy. You don't live in the right area, no one supports you. The world is telling us that non stop. Am I right or am I wrong? Listen, am I just talking out of my ass here? Am I hitting some points that are making sense? There's something that is always pulling you and tugging at you. I get it. I'm pulled and tugged in a million directions and things are going well for me. I know what it's like when things aren't going so well or you want them to go better and there's a million things holding down. And you're like, you forget looking at the light and you get off just a little bit and then you go, I'll finish the course next month. I'll finish the course in three months. I'll read that book. I'll get that. Let me just finish this up. Let me just make sure things are good here and then I'll get back to it. You shut off the light, you're not looking at the beacon, you're not looking at the light tower. And all of a sudden a year goes by, five years go by. Tell me, how quick did the last five years go by? So when I talk about momentum, like for me, it's like we need. And I listen, I screw this shit up too. Guys, I hope you know this. And I think I'm hoping you all know me by now. Like, I tell it like it is. Like I had the most beautiful wedding that existed in life. I'm not screwing with you. I'm not saying it because it was mine. I have to tell you, my wife now, wife. Like, it was magical. It was at a magical place. I mean, listen, as a kid who lived in a trailer park and lived in a bathroom with my dad, to be in Lake Cuomo at Villa Des, the nicest resort like on the planet, in front of this thousand year old mosaic with people that I love. I mean, it went. I got goosebumps. My future wife, now my wife, walked around the corner with her dad. I started sobbing, like, tears rolling down my face. I had really legit goosebumps. She was coming down the aisle. I'm trying to maintain. And my. My dear friend Ethan Willis and partner is marrying us. And he's seeing me crying now. He's crying. He's got tears coming down his eyes. And it was just perfect. My mom was there, my dad was there, her family was there. Everybody bonded. We. We ate Italian food. Way too much Italian food. We met wonderful people. It was perfect. And that's what most people show is the perfect. But that's why I want to do a video. I did a couple videos to just share the truth. I screwed up royalty in relationships in my past. I hurt people. I made bad decisions. I didn't. Wasn't mature enough. I didn't focus on relationships enough. I was so obsessed with being a dad and so obsessed with growing my business and making an impact on other people's lives. I didn't really focus or learn about relationships. I'm just being honest. Like, I want to tell it like it is. The reason my relationship is magical now, the reason I fall in love with my wife Lisa every single day now, is because finally I said, I want a compelling future. I put a beacon of light of the love I wanted, the love I deserved. How I never wanted to hurt anybody. I want my kids to see an example of love. I want them to understand that true love can exist, but you have to work on it, that nothing's easy, not your business, not your health, not your love. I created a beacon of light. And every single day I sell myself on being the best man I could possibly be, the best husband I can be, the best father I could be, the best leader I can be. I sell myself every day. And I know the compelling future. I know where I want to go. And I don't let the naysayers who say, ah, that love's going to wear off. You're only, what, a year and a half, two years in, ah, it won't be that good. Screw you. That's not me. When people told me, oh, wait till your daughter's three terrible threes, Wait till they're five, wait till they go to school, wait till they turn 12. All that was bullshit. Bullshit. Everybody was telling me their fears, their experiences. They didn't have a beacon of light. They didn't focus the energy on it. I did it. My daughter's going to be 13. I have the best relationship on the planet, people. I'll wait till she's 15. It's like just being honest. Screw you. You've been saying that since she was three. That's your life, that's not mine. Because I know where the hell I'm going now. The only reason I tell all that is because I wanted to tell you that it might seem easy for me now to share all this stuff because that perfect wedding, but doesn't show the sleepless nights when I was going through a divorce, worrying about my kids. It doesn't show the regret I had for making bad decisions and hurting people. It doesn't show that. That's why I want to be transparent and show you I've screwed up. Freaking royalty. But these are the answers that pulled me from that to where now I'm in the best relationship in my life. And I give you my word, in 20 years, when I'm sitting here, I'm talking the same way about Lisa. I'm going to talk in the same way about my kids, the same way about my business. Because I've been through this. And that's why I want to give you these tools, because these are the same exact tools I've learned to get there. So if you want to go to that next level, if you want to create momentum, maintain momentum, that means you got to dig in here and sell yourself daily on that compelling future. And you can't let the shit come in. If it comes in a little bit, the negative news, the person telling you you can't, the thing that fell through, the partner that robbed your money. All those things are going to happen. But if you start focusing on them, the beacon of light goes out. And if the beacon light goes out and you don't know where your compelling future is, you don't sell on yourself, what are you going to do? You're going to go over here and just solve problems all the time, and you'll be caught in a hypnotic rhythm of putting out fires rather than creating your own fire. Fuzzy targets don't get hit. Fuzzy targets don't get hit. Clarify, clean your target so you know exactly what you're aiming for. And then in that sell yourself, I'm going to encourage you to face what scares you right now. There's something. Even if you've put it off, even if you've tucked it way down, even if you pretend it doesn't scare you, it's not that big a deal. There's something standing between you and your next level. It's a fear, it's an insecurity. It's a person, it's a belief. There's something there for me, too. My next level. On anything, there's always something. Of course, I try to knock them down as fast as I can. But every time I find myself hesitating or not getting the momentum that I want, I realize that there's something, a fear, an old fear that popped up from my childhood that's just standing there and I'm like, oh shit, how did that obstacle get there? And I gotta knock it out of the way. Listen, I came from divorce, so I didn't want to put my kids through that. Just be honest. I'm going to be honest. Like I am always honest with you guys. I just say it like it is. My ex and I knew our relationship was over probably 10 years ago. We really did. But she came from divorce. I did. Neither one of us worked on us enough. We worked on being kick ass parents and we just stayed because we were both so afraid of what would happen to our children. Because again, we came from divorce, right? So we just ignored it and ignored it and I ignored it because last thing I want to do is like, I love being with my kids every day. They're here now, by the way, in the new office. I love it. They're in the other room. I just didn't want to be without them, not even for a day. So I'm like, you know what I screwed up on? Love. Every other area of my life is thriving. I felt guilty that I wanted love there too. So I'm like, I got love for my kids. I got love with the impact I make. I. I'm friends with, I was friends with my ex, even though we lived in even separate rooms. I mean, just being honest, saying it like it is, but I had this huge fear, and I've shared this with so many of you before, but I had this huge fear that I was gonna screw my kids up, that I'd be eternally lonely without them every single day. And that fear held me and my ex and my kids from thriving back for years. And I'm not saying divorce is a good thing, not even for a little bit. I'm just saying this was my circumstance. But when I finally faced that, and this is the same with business, the same with so many things in my life. But when I finally faced that fear and I went through anxiety and worry and stress and I focused on what could go wrong. The day I said, I'm facing this, the day I put the beacon of light up, the day I wrote down what was unacceptable in a relationship anymore and what's a must in the relationship and what I need my kids to see, to see the, the best of me, to know what love is not when their parents live in Separate rooms. The day I faced it. The day I put the beacon of light. The day I just got out of my own way and I faced it. I turned my ship into the storm of hell. I went through it. When I came out on the other side, I was a better human. Now, I'd love to say, yes, I got wealthier. I'm just saying my business drive. Yes, I attracted the love of my life. Lisa is my other half. Yes, my ex is thriving. My kids are doing better now than ever before. And now they got a bigger family. It's incredible. Like, if you've seen this in Italy, everybody's together. It was. I could cry. It was so good. But the only way I found that is by facing my biggest fear. The only way I took my businesses to the next level is because I faced my biggest fears when I was worried I could go broke or I'd let people down, or people would make fun of me, or I wasn't smart enough, or I wasn't rich enough, or I didn't dress cool enough, or I didn't go to the right college. When I worried about all that crap, I stayed still. The day I turned my ship into that storm and I said, I don't think give a shit what anybody thinks about me. I don't care if I fail. I have a bigger purpose. I have a bigger future planned out for me. I'm not listening to my friends. I'm not listening to my family. I'm not listening to the bankers who turned me down. I'm not listening to the person who didn't give me a credit. Like, I am going after it when I faced that fear. On the other side of that fear is your next level. And some of it, some of you don't have a big fear right now. Some of you have a subtle one that you don't realize is like a burning ember inside of you and it subtly pushes you away. Like, no, no, I got this. Dean, Dean, you went through a tough time and maybe some of you people. Not me, I'm good. I don't know if you are. Sometimes it's hidden. Sometimes it's an insecurity that you found a way to mask. Sometimes it's a fear that you put a lid on. I would just spend a little time to say, if you want momentum, if you want momentum, try to find what that is and break through it. Okay, so now we're number three. Number one on momentum is never stop learning Self education. Who not how. Trial and error is over. You need to learn from other people in the culture of learning. Number two, have that compelling future, that beacon of light. Sell yourself daily. Empower yourself towards where you want to go, not where you don't. Fuzzy targets. Don't get hit. Face that. That what scares you? Slay the monster. All right, here's the third one. Ready now we'll get a little more tactical in just the thought process because I've been blessed to. I've been blessed to not only build big businesses, building another big business right now. I've been blessed and fortunate enough to be able to train and have high level masterminds. But one of the things I hear so much as people grow is I don't. I wish I could replicate myself. I wish I could have a clone. I Wish I had 48 hours in a day. I wish I could just get someone to help me and truly understand what I do. Do you ever have that issue? Here's something that will never, unless you master this. Mark my word, even if you have the never stop learning, then you have to sell yourself daily. If you don't do this last one, you'll never be able to scale the company, get momentum, go to the next level. This is that important. And that is creating standing operating procedures. Now I bet you just 10 years ago if somebody said, hey, what are your SOPs? I'd be like my SOPs. I don't know what the hell are SOPs? I mean that and I built monster companies before then. But now that I understand it, Without standing operating procedures, you can't replicate yourself. You can't go to another level how many times. And I know some, some of you that are on here right now, I know you personally. You've tried hiring personal assistants, you've tried hiring operating people for operations, tried hiring customer service, and you just get frustrated and go, there's no good employees anymore. Is there no good employees or are we a crap ass employer? And I don't mean the money you gave them, I don't mean how nice you treated them. But did you set them up for a win or did you set them up for failure? I know I'm just going to talk with personal experience. My first two decades in business, I set people up for failure. I did. I just, I knew something. It all lived in my head. They came in, I gave them a couple days of training and said, go do it. And then in three weeks when it wasn't working, I tried to help them again. Then in five weeks, I started resenting them. Six weeks, I was barely talking to them. Within Two, three months they're out. And oh, they didn't work out. Another person didn't work out. You know whose fault that was? It was all mine. I set them all up for failure because I didn't give them a process. Now I want to tell you in a group, I started with a friend of mine, we had a great dude, John in there and his expertise was helping companies go public to sell companies, right? And get maximum dollar. And he said the companies that get the most. So if you have a company and you ever want to sell it, the companies that get the most have three musts, three important things. One, clear ex. Clear, concise and. And explainable books, meaning the accounting is clean. There's not all this, hey, where's this money going? How'd this money come in? And why is this all cross pollinated? Clear, concise and explainable books. Two, that how to have a really good story that this was really a company that's going down the Runway and the real liftoff hasn't even come yet. Whether that's true or not, the companies that got the most have the story on how they're just on the Runway, they just, they're a foot off and they haven't even soared to 700 miles an hour yet. So clear and concise and explainable books. Number two is a great story that this plane is just getting off the ground. There's so much potential. And then the third one is that there are processes and systems in place that are replicatable. If the company can't exist without some, with the key men or key women that are in place, they don't want to buy it. That means if you have a company and God forbid something happens to you or you wig out and decide you don't want to work anymore and you move off to Europe, if that company can't survive without you, they don't want that. They don't want to rely on people. They want to rely on processes and systems. That's how important having standing operating procedures are. And what does that mean? It sounds like a really big technical word. The whole point is this. And this is great. I hired Josh and he's my operations guy and he's obsessing on doing this for our company right now. It's everything that's done in this company needs to be able to be explained like this. A standing operating procedure. If we were making peanut butter and jelly is not this. Grab the peanut butter, grab the jelly, put it on a sandwich, put it together. Peanut butter and jelly. That is not A true standing and operating procedure. Because someone grabbed the peanut butter and the jelly and what do you toast the bread like? That's not a true standing operating procedure. If you got peanut butter and jelly is go in the cupboard, grab the peanut butter, grab the jelly, Take two pieces of bread, lay them both on a plate. When you're done, take the top off the strawberry, take the jelly, take the top off the peanut butter. Use two different knives so you don't cross contaminate the two. Put the peanut butter on first. Because it's hard to spread jelly over top of peanut butter. So you put the peanut butter on first. You can put the jelly on top of the peanut butter or you could put it on top of the jelly. Then you put the two together, you put it on the plate, you cut it in half, put the tops on, put everything away. Jelly goes in the refrigerator, peanut butter goes in the cupboard. Get a napkin, grab a glass of milk. Silly as that sounds, that dumb analogy, if you explain that. And someone who never made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich could take out their notes of a great standing operating procedure. Say, okay, grab the jelly. Okay, grab the peanut butter. Two knives, they could do that. But what we do is, hey, could you go make a peanut butter and jelly? I never made one. Oh, it's, you got that. And then when the jelly's all smeared all over and it's on both knives and it's on the plate and it's half on the napkin and like, that's what we can't have. So what I want to share with you right now is if you want to scale your current business to another level, if you want to scale the business you're going to start someday, I would say start documenting. Start documenting some of the things you do and some of the first things you're going to hand off. You see so many people come to me when they first start growing, when they first start growing, like, who's the first hire? And this has been my advice for a long time. My first, best hire advice. Now there's a million different things when you hire. Marketing, of course, obsess on marketing, Sales, of course, obsess on sales, great content impact, customer service, accounting, you need all those. But in most cases, if you're a, you know, a selfpreneur, like a one person show right now, as you start to grow, the first person to hire for me is a personal assistant, someone who could take the crap off your plate you shouldn't be doing. So you can do the things that you should be doing. Let's just say right now you're a solopreneur and you're, you're, you're getting ready to go to another level. You're launching your mastermind business, your, your software business, you're launching your real estate business, you, you're going to start your, your workshop business, you're going to do virtual training, you're going to be a coach, whatever it is, right? How much faster could you go if you took all the crap off your plate you shouldn't be doing? And when I say crap, I mean going to pick up your dry cleaning, going to grab breakfast, going to the grocery store, answering your own emails, or doing your own DMS on social media, or trying to grow or trying to edit your own videos. I don't know where you are trying to put now bandit signs. If you're in real estate or trying to grow your Instagram account on yourself, I don't know what it is, but let's just say. But you know, if you work on the things that really work on the business like creating your marketing, doing videos, making an impact, getting on the phone, closing the deal, if you could take all the crap, tell me right now if I could take all the crap off your plate. If you never had to pick up your own dry clean, if you didn't have to wait in lines, if you didn't have to go to Home Depot, if you didn't have to pick up your own lunch, if you didn't have to make your own lunch, if you didn't have to go to your own grocery store, if you don't go to grocery store for yourself, tell me right now, give me a thumbs up or a hell yes. If you could go faster in life if all the stupid crap was gone and you could focus specifically on the thing that makes impact and profits, right? If someone took all the crap off your plate and you could focus on if, say you're in the knowledge business, blooper, you could focus on extracting your knowledge, focus on building your agenda, focus on getting your website set up, focus on the marketing, focus on the date. How much faster could you go? So for me, I always give advice is first thing, hire a personal assistant. But if you don't create SOPs, you'll screw that up. You'll screw it up. Think about this, think about all the things you do on a regular basis. You do it subconsciously. You go pick up your drive. How many times have you driven someplace you forgot you drove there? You do that when you pick up your Food. You pick up your dry cleaning. You do all these other miscellaneous stuff. You check your text messages too many times. You check Facebook, Instagram, social media, YouTube. You check all that. What if you said you hired his personal assistant? You go, hey, take all this stuff off my plate. Get my laundry. Get my food. They bring you the wrong food. They drop your dry cleaning off at the wrong spot. They drop it off on a Friday, and you need it for Saturday. But they didn't tell the people it doesn't come in till Monday. They don't DM right. They talk stupid on, you know, they reply on your. On your messages like they're you, and they say crappy, weird stuff like all. You're like, oh, my God, personal assistants don't work. You're fired. They, no, you don't work. But what if you took a whole week? Oh, my God, a week. That sounds. No, took a whole week and you documented everything. When I pick up my dry cleaning, I love to drop it off at this store on 3rd street, and I drop it off on Thursdays, and I ask them to have it ready by Friday. When I pick up, I ask them not to put seams in the shirt or no pleats in the pants. I don't like starch. And all of a sudden, you take 20 minutes to write this down. And all of a sudden, there's a standing operating procedure on getting your dry clean when you go shopping, hey, I love organic, but I can't afford Whole Foods, so I like to go. I don't like spending money for whole. For Whole Foods. So you can go to Sprouts, but when you go to Sprouts, I want you to get the organic food that's on the right. And I want you to do this. And I like carbs, but I don't like simple carbs. So you can get this grain. So it takes. Oh, it's a pain in the ass. It takes you an hour to lay out how someone could shop for you. And then there's a standing operating procedure, and you give it to them and they shop for you just like. Like you do. All right, when you're going to handle my Instagram account, my social media, my YouTube, you're going to reply to everyone. You're going to not reply as me, but I want you to talk like me. And when people reply, I want you to know, here's 20 different replies I've done in the past. Here's the things I want to say. Here's the things I don't want to say, and here's the things I'd like you to do. All of a sudden, you do those and you give them the standing operating procedure, and they can run your social media account. Well, I gave three simple analogies, but where in your life could you use an SOP that you could set up a hire to actually accomplish what you want, not be frustrated that they're not doing it? Most of the time, it's us. I take the blame all the time. So start thinking. Even if you're just starting your business, how can you start documenting what works and throw away what doesn't? And if you create a standing operating procedure of something and then you find a better way, you go again, adjust this operating procedure so it's the control. It's like it's always the best way to do it until you find a better way. Then you adjust it and you hand that off. Sops sound like a. Like a fancy word, a fancy acronym. It really just means, what the hell do I do? How do I do it so well? How do I document it? How do I hand it off to somebody else so I could work on the things that actually move the needle the most in my life?
