Hey, everybody. Dean Graziosi, welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. Okay, for my message this week, I want to share what I'm currently doing. I'm in the middle of reading Thomas Jefferson's biography, the long version, about 18 hours worth. I actually listen to books, and I do that while I hit the gym every morning. And God, what a. What an incredible man. And an interesting story. And when you look back, you know, in life, you know, I should say when we look at our life right now, we. We think it's the worst times. You know, there's so much going on in the world and crisis and economy and income. But when you look back at his time frame, every era of history has its challenges. But those who can create the right habits and the right beliefs find a way to have an abundant, successful, impactful life. I mean, think about it. Back then, I mean, he had six children. Only two lived because they didn't have the cures like they do today. His wife died when she was 33. It was during a time when they decided to declare independence from England. If it didn't work out, he was going to lose his head, not just his money or his life, while doing all those things and traveling with horse and buggy. We can't even say email. There was no letters. If you wanted to go to Europe, it would take you a month. And all those challenges. Here's someone who just stayed steadfast to a bigger life, steadfast to a bigger future, learned from his mistakes, and he had plenty of them along the way. I mean, at the part in the book where he had a horrific mistake and he didn't. He didn't get the militia to jump in when he heard that, you know, England was going to invade Virginia for the first time, invade Richmond for the first time, he didn't jump in. He made a massive mistake. He stepped back, learned from it, moved on. But as I analyze this man's life, things don't change. Success habits don't change. Success beliefs don't change. The thought of having a scarcity mindset or an abundant mindset, it doesn't change. Success throughout history leaves clues. It's the same. If you want to take your life to that next level, then you follow. And some of the things I look in Thomas Jefferson's life that got him. There are some of the things that I've been sharing for years. And people will buy from you, learn from you, listen to you, and buy, you know, and make changes in their life from you when they feel understood. Thomas Jefferson had the gift of listening to people and understanding where they were in their life and writing letters and talking to people in a way where they go, I get it. Even Thomas Jefferson's foes, his enemies on the other side, understood him because they felt understood. So my message for today is all the things that I've been talking about. This is my seventh year doing a weekly wisdom for you every week. These are clues, these are success habits, success recipes, that if you incorporate them into your life, you have the ability to go to that next level, to experience more joy, more happiness, more abundance, more prosperity. And the thing that stood out for me the most is they asked Thomas Jefferson to write the Declaration of Independence. There was people older than him, there was people more vibrant than him that understood where they wanted to go better. And when he was talking to John Adams and he said, no, you're more qualified, you should write it. At least I'm going by what I read in this version of the biography. John Adams said, no, I'm brash. I piss people off. They don't relate to me or I don't relate to them. He's like, you have a gift of communicating in a way to rally the troops and in turn rallies you. Now that's my, you know, I'm paraphrasing or my version of it. But it also tells you the power of some simple things. When you want to win an argument, don't feel you need to be understood. Understand the person you want to persuade. When you want to get your way, find a way to help others get their way at the same time. The power of negotiating, the power of attraction, the power of persuasion in most circumstances relies in our ability to listen and hear the other side and find a way to meet in the middle. So that's my message for today. Success leaves clues. It's never changed. All of it's there in front of us. With my winning State of Mind course, my Abundance Mastery course totally fulfilled, and some other incredible courses out there. The habits are there, the beliefs are there. You just have to decide, is it time for you to start adapting them one little step at a time so you can look back in a year from now and see that your life has made a massive transformation.
