Hey, everybody. Welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. It's really an honor and a pleasure to have you here today. Hey, could you imagine if that's the way I did a Weekly Wisdom each week, trying to share with you, inspire, motivate, and give you the wisdom that you actually wanted to listen to. But that's how so many of you will approach things in life. You'll start real estate, and you'll talk to a new agent and say, hi, you know, I'm thinking of, you know, investing in real estate. No, listen to me. I wasn't that smart. I'm still. When I walk in a room, I know I'm not the smartest guy in a room. But can I tell you what got me so far in life, is that I am passionate now. I can't stand a hype guy like, hey, listen to me, I'm the best in the world. No, I don't like fake enthusiasm. What I like is if you want to make money, if you want to change your life, if you want to lose weight, if you want a better relationship, and it's passion. And it's passion built up inside you. Let it out. Use your face, use your expressions. Show what you mean. And the other opposite side of that is when people share back. Listen, pay attention, hear what they're saying. Don't be one of those people that are just waiting for someone else to shut up so you can talk. You want real engagement. You want people to take you serious, Then have enthusiasm, have vigor, have excitement for what you share. You would not. Some of you have been watching me so long that you watched me do a video like this probably five years ago, week after week, we Would you watch me if each week I was like, hey, it's Dean. And you know, this week was a little tough week, but we pulled through. And I have some really good strategies that. And I'd love to share with you. No, you would have clicked me off years ago. But I am dying to reach through that camera and get you to take action, to be excited, to be motivated. So I pull every bit of passion I have in my body to deliver it. And if you were here right now in front of me, whether you talk to me with passion or not, I would listen to you. I would look you in the eyes. I wouldn't look at my cell phone. I wouldn't digress. I wouldn't look around. I'd be focused on you. And when you do that, you give a mutual respect that can't be bought, can't be taught, can't Be, you know, a process to get people to love you. No, just talk with enthusiasm, talk with passion, and listen intently and reply to what they're saying, not just giving what you want to share. Remember, people will trust you, buy from you, learn from you. When they feel understood, not just when they understand you. And if you want to, if you want to negotiate with somebody, remember, enter a world they're living in. You know, if you have lots of money and they're broke, you can't. You can't try to. You need to enter how they feel, how their emotions. You want to inspire a child, Know what they like every day. You know, my son, he's only 6 years old and we have a limit. He does about a half hour every three days. He gets to play Club Penguin. That's what he likes to play. Now, I don't like him playing video games. That's just me. I don't go to dinner and hand him an iPad. I'm trying to keep my kids to be social and communicate. That's just me. It doesn't make it wrong if you do that, but that's me. But what I knew, I realized was, is I don't like him playing video games. So I was ignoring him playing Club Penguin. Every time he'd try to tell me about it, I'd be like, bro, that's yours. You get it? You know, I don't like it, but you can play. And I. And I realized I was all wrong. I wasn't entering a conversation in his head. I wasn't trying to understand him. Last week, I sat down, I said, bud, I've been wrong. Six year old, I said, I'm wrong. I want to know all about Club Penguin. And we went in and it's actually a really cool game. It's not damaging. It makes him do chores to earn money. And I was so enthusiastic and so excited. You know what I realized? He hasn't played since we went on and looked and hasn't even asked about it. I think he loved it so much because I didn't love it when I gave power to it, when I understood him, when I got on his level, I took the juice away. And that's a different point. But if you wanna communicate, if you wanna share, if you wanna change, if you wanna impress, if you wanna impact, whatever you wanna do in someone's life, get on their level, talk with enthusiasm and listen intently, and the game starts to change.
