So let me ask you a serious question. When you see people crushing it, making it, seemingly building empires online within the digital economy, does it make you feel envious, angry, or maybe even hurt? And that feeling of being left behind. Welcome to the Dean Graziosi Show. All success starts right here. Hey, it's Dean Graziosi and welcome to the Dean show, the podcast where we go upstream to anchor in a foundation for sustainable long term success in your life. How are those magical money machines getting rich overnight doing? Not usually much, but if you'd like to transition into something bigger, create a side hustle with purpose that can give you next level abundance, or take the current company you have to a whole nother level, then this is the podcast for you today. I want to talk about the digital economy. And that's pretty much breaks down to everything we do in today's world, right? If you're on your phone buying something, if you're online making a transaction, that's the digital economy. But also, let's be honest, you see, sometimes even kids just seemingly crushing it online. They're sharing a strategy, they're selling a tool, maybe even a widget or a product or a service. And like, how are they doing it? Do you ever feel that hurt of not knowing how? The hurt of, am I going to be left behind? The hurt of how can I take my talents, my skills and do more? Well, that's a feeling that's growing bigger, deeper and stronger for so many people. And today I want to. Now, we know the digital economy is massive. Billions and billions and billions of dollars, right? But let's look inside the part that, you know, Tony Robbins and I talk about all the time. The industry that we're in is not only the digital economy doing so much of our stuff online, we're inside the self education movement, if that's what you want to call it. And I want you to start thinking through a couple different aspects in your life if this is something that intrigues you. You see, we are in a time in history when people value knowledge. Now listen, I think knowledge was always valued, but not the level it is now. Knowledge has become the new currency. Even when I started in this industry over 20, oh my God, 22 years ago, a lot of people would say, oh, the only way to get ahead is you got to go back to school or go to college and get that next level degree. Or why would you learn from that when you could just do it on your own? My father was a big one on just learn through your own trial and error. You don't need anybody else. But that doesn't work in today's world. And this is why I want to share this podcast on this day. Because if you're feeling a little bit left behind, you're feeling like you can't keep up, that's okay. That's a normal feeling. Because here's why. Schools haven't evolved fast enough, right? If you Google right now, one of the trending terms is by the time the ink dries on your diploma, what you learned is outdated because it's more general knowledge. And general knowledge doesn't keep up with a world that's growing exponentially. So if you're just getting out of college, or you went back to college, or you were in college 20 years ago and you feel like that didn't deliver, that's why not knocking colleges, they just didn't keep up. But this is the one that I think most people miss and why you might feel a little envy, a little angry, or maybe just hurt that, like, I have more to give the world, why am I being left behind? Why am I missing out? That's because, like I said, our world is growing exponentially. So when you try to figure something out on your own through trial and error, you can't go fast enough. I've said this a lot lately, but it's like you figure out the 2.0 version of where you want to go, and by the time you look up and go, yay, I got 2.0, the world's on 6.0. And you're like, oh, I know you know that feeling. So how do you keep up? This is the part I want to challenge you to look into. I want you to see where you can give value to the world. You know, most people say, how do you go from 50,000 to 500,000 or 500,000 to 5 million? Or some people go from 5 million to $50 million. And if you think about that, trying to break this down for you, and I hope this is making sense, is you get paid in most instances in the entire world based on the value you bring to the world. Why is one person in a company, a CEO, making 20 million a year and someone in the mail room working more hours making $40,000 a year? It's because of the value you bring to the universe. The value you bring to the world, the way people vote is sorting mail, even though it's hard work and people need to do it, doesn't bring as much value. As a CEO that doubled the profits of the company that year so your pay is in direct correlation to the value you bring. That brings me back to the self education movement and why you're seeing people online crushing. Maybe again you have those feelings of I want to be a part of the digital economy, but I want to be in this. So I'm going to challenge you to dig deep inside your soul and figure out what is it in your world? What have you done? What experiences have you gone through? What have you studied or obsessed, what mess have you gone through that can become a message to help other people? Here's the whole point of this podcast. If being a part of the digital economy is something you've ever desired, ever want, want to take your current business and make it a bigger part so you attract more clients, I want to ask how much value can you give to the world? What can you deliver that allows other people to go faster, quicker? Listen, the digital economy is made up of widgets, Amazon, all those pieces. Selling products and service can be great. But I'm talking about something and this kind of goes along with the podcast I did last week is how do you do something meaningful in your life? How do you do something that can deliver purpose? How can you do something that wakes you up in the morning and you can't wait to start the day while simultaneously having the chance to take your success to the level you want? I believe it's not only the digital economy, it's not only the information age. It boils down to self education with that tagline of knowledge is the new currency. When you can see a wave coming, getting in front of it, positioning yourself is how you don't feel left behind. So this is what I'm gonna challenge you in this short little podcast today. I'm gonna challenge you to sit down on a piece of paper and decide what and where could you bring value to other people. What experiences do you have that you wish someone would have told you about earlier in life? Think about this, this might be the best challenge for you. You ready? Pretend you have the chance to sit down with your 18 year old self for three hours and that's all you have with your 18 year old self and you have to tell him these things. What would you tell her? What would you tell him this 18 year old and said sit and listen. This is me at 32. This is me at 50. This is me at 27. Sit and listen. Because these are the things that allow you to go faster in life. This will avoid the complications, this will allow you to quicker path to the success you want and Success is deeper than just money. It's this, it's that. What would you tell yourself when you sit down and write that? Those are the pieces that you could share with others in the world that are starting on day one. If you're on day 500 or if you're on day 1000, imagine all the people that are on day one through 20 that could use you. Now. If you're thinking, I don't really want to be in the digital economy, I already have my own business. Well, that's great. Are you taking and sharing knowledge? Because we are in the information age. It doesn't matter if you're selling widgets or you're a restaurant. You need to understand the information age and we need to deliver value. The digital economy, the information age can be bolted onto any business you're in or want to start and give you exponential growth. So sitting down, doing the exercise, figuring out what it is that you would serve or deliver or teach your 18 year old self, how can you translate that into people around the world who need that information? The second challenge I want to give you today is start thinking through the eyes of art versus science when it comes to getting your message out on social media. I know I'm kind of digressing here, but I think this is really important. I did a training on this about four days ago and the world went nuts over it. So I'm trying to give you a condensed version today. If you're someone who advertises or markets online, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or you want to someday, it can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Break it up into two pieces, Break it up into art and science. The science side is the algorithms. That that's teachable. You can learn how to do it. Tony Robbins and I teach that. My team teaches that. How to get fans on Instagram, how to pay for ads on Facebook, how to grow your YouTube account, how to create a viral video, how to do posts on LinkedIn. That's all an algorithm, that's all the science. What I'm going to challenge you to do is go back now the value you would give your 18 year old self, how you translate that, how you give that value to the rest of the world who are starting on day one, who need that information, who don't want to go back to school, they don't want to learn on their own, they want to learn from you right now. You got that? Now how do you get that message out to people who want it? Two ways, let someone or yourself learn the science of targeting the exact people who need that message. But this is the part I wanna challenge you on the art. I want you to lean into your heart. I want you to lean into authenticity. I want you to take that message you would share with your 18 year old self and craft that message that would go out on social media. Coming from your heart, coming from the pure version of you, not like anybody else in the world. If you would do me the favor of trying those two things even on the tiniest scale, right, analyze it and then just post it on your Facebook account, I bet you you'll get more likes and more comments than anything you've ever done. Post it on Instagram, coming from your heart, on what you would share and watch how the world is so hungry for knowledge, they're so hungry for what you've created because they don't want to figure it out on their own. People are paying for speed, they're paying to go faster by learning from people who've already been there. Listen, the reason I'm so excited about this is while you're listening to this podcast, if you're listening to it when it's new, I'm in the middle of launching our KBB program, our KBB course and software and all these crazy bonuses to show people how to enter the digital economy, how to enter the information age, how to monetize knowledge and how to be a part of the self education movement. It's transformed my life, it's transformed Tony's lives. We've been in this for 60 years and so many people we see around the world say to us, wherever event we're at, it's like, how do I do this? How do I get into this business? How do I do something meaningful? This is it. It was a passion project for Tony and I and it's become a, a movement.
