Hey guys, good morning. Super early for this Wednesday weekly wisdom. I guess I didn't stay consistent last couple weeks, but on days. But I'm here for, here to share some wisdom on beliefs or what I believe to be some of the most important things we could ever discuss. And I'm slow talking here while people join us, get here live. But could our beliefs be the thing that keeps us stuck, gets us stressed, keeps us worried? Don't go to the next level. Of course. Our beliefs are everything. Our beliefs are what allow us to go to the next level. Or be wishing you could missing the boat, feeling like opportunity has passed you so many times. Okay, so why am I talking about beliefs? And in a headline I put Thomas Jefferson, right? Now I'm in Richmond, Virginia. I fly to Atlanta today, but a couple days ago I was in Charlottesville, Virginia. Then I was in Williamsburg, Virginia. Now I'm in Richmond, staying at the Jefferson Hotel. Everything is Thomas Jefferson. Charlottesville is created by a. That's where the college he created is. And when I look at Thomas Jefferson, who helped found and form our country, I geeked out. Hey everybody. Good morning libero. Good to have you here, everybody. Pamela, when I look at him about, I don't know, three years ago I kind of geeked out on history because I wasn't that good. School, I didn't love school. I didn't study very well. I became an obsessive learner and wanting information. I'm just gotta look both ways, you know, an obsessive learner later in my life. And I want to know more about history of the United States. So I geeked out. I read two Thomas J. Jefferson's books, bios. I read John Adams, I read George Washington, I read Benjamin Franklin kind of all around the same time to see how our country was formed. And now you're thinking, well, I didn't come here for a history lesson. No, of course you didn't. What I wanted to chat about today are beliefs. Think about the beliefs that Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin and John Adams and George Washington, the founder, pretty much the founders and architects of our country. Think of their beliefs. Cool. Building behind me, right? So much history in Richmond. I love it. Their beliefs had to be at such a high level. They believed that they could create something new that no one has ever created before. They believed that there was a way for the people to run a country, not a dictatorship or not a family they believed in with such conviction. Listen to this. Think about that. None of them were broke, none of them were here struggling Financially, all of them, when it started, were offered incredible amounts of money and land and freedom by Britain to just stop. So think about this. They believed in it so strongly that they gave up their cushy lives, basically. And if it didn't work out, it was treason. They would have been beheaded. Okay, so think about that. It wasn't like, I win, I get a little further in life, I lose. Ah, that one didn't work out. No, you win, amazing. You lose, you die. Now, that inspired me today to do this on beliefs, because everything we do, everything that happens on a daily basis is end result of what we believe it to be. So what I would love for this week is what if this week you questioned every single belief you have? You question why you're not getting deals done. You question why you're not in the best shape of your life. You question the belief on why you're not making money, the belief on why you're not in a passionate, intimate, loving relationship. Or just question all of it. Because what happens, our subconscious and our ego starts creating stories. I'm just wandering around the streets here in Richmond, Virginia, starts creating stories to protect ourselves. You know, I'm not the best shape of my life because, you know, I. I'm just working so hard. I got to get to work. And it's hard or I don't have a lot of money right now. So buying good food is. And then it becomes a belie. And then it's easy for your subconscious to just accept it. It's easy for your ego to go, yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't have love because you have this belief that men are no good. Because that last relationship, I was cheated on. Now, I'm digressing. I'm digressing here, because we are. Listen to this statement. We are nothing more than the beliefs we have. If we believe we can or believe we can't, that's exactly what we're going to get. So today and this week, what if you spent time questioning every belief that pops up? Everything that pops up say, is this a true belief? Is this my reality is this. I'm again walking across the street here. I love Richmond. The history here is amazing. But what if every belief that you have, you just question? I mean, think about this, right? Think of, and this is just a really simple story, but think of one day you get into a car accident, and your beliefs on that day are, oh, my God, my insurance is going to go up. My husband, my wife's going to be pissed off. I'm going to Be late for this meeting and you freak out. God, how could you run that red light? What are you doing? That's a belief. And that could be one way. The second side of it, you could be in a space that day and believe, you know, who cares? My belief is it's metal and tin, and that's what we have insurance for. And who cares, right? Same exact circumstance, different belief. Which one will take you to another level? If George Washington and Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson believed it would be too tough, believed it would be impossible to start their own country, believe that the people could run, you know, that there was a government for the people, by the people. If they didn't believe that, this never would have happened. I might be sipping tea, you know, British tea right now with a different accent, Right? So today I would consider raising your standards on certain beliefs. Stop limiting your beliefs. Well, I could make more money if I could be in better shape, if I could have a better relationship, if. Screw that. If. Get a new belief. Find it. Search out someone else who's done it. Search someone who was broke and made money, someone who had a bad relationship, got hurt bad and was sad for a while and came out of it. Search somebody who was depressed, sad, had anxiety, and now they're living a fulfilled life. Find the person and seek out what they've done and then just switch out your beliefs. Raise the standards of that belief. And again, our beliefs are who we become. And then secondly, there's other beliefs you have that are just nonsense. They're complete nonsense. They're a lie, they're not true. They were given to you by society. They were given to you by family members, loved ones, parents, or a previous relationship. And you just held on to it. Those. You don't have to raise the standards on those. You got to get rid of those beliefs or prove that they're complete lies and flop them. Because that belief will keep you again exactly where you are. And you'll wonder why you have this hypnotic rhythm of day after day, wanting more, needing more, desiring more, but you're just not getting more. So I hope that made sense today because it just inspired me. Here. This is. This is the Jefferson Hotel where I'm staying. It's pretty cool. I mean, just. This is such a. I love all the buildings down here. It's really cool. Hey, guys. So I appreciate you being here with me today. If you like this message, share it. Like it, Please let me see the hearts and the likes. Make sure we get this out to everybody else. But again, I just Want to make it really simple for you today. Everything that happens, anything you think of, you go to eat at a restaurant and the waiter comes over and says something a little sarcastic and in your head there's a belief going to come out like, ah, this guy's stuck up, or what, is this guy not like me? Or what, does she not like me? Or is this. No, it's a belief. Just call it a lie. Like, just mess with yourself today on everything, right? Somebody cut you off in traffic. What belief do I have? When your boss or your co worker says a certain thing, what belief do you have? When a friend doesn't reach back out to you after you text him, what belief do you have? Right, we go right to this belief. It could be, oh, man, you know, I'm such a good friend, I don't get the reaction I want. I don't get asked to go to certain places. And then you get frustrated, get rid of that belief. Does that serve you? Does it serve God? Does it serve the universe? Does it serve your bigger future? I'm telling you, take the time to question your beliefs. Figure them out. Because again, we are nothing more than the collective beliefs that we have. If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't. And if you believe lies or things that aren't true, they become your reality. And then you listen to me and go, oh, Dean, you don't know what I'm going through. You don't know how hard my life is or what things I have to do. No, I don't. But I don't know your beliefs. But I know if I could change your beliefs, I could change your life. You change your beliefs, question them and go rock this week. Hey, I appreciate you guys taking a little walk with me. I have. I'm gonna go for a little run here in Richmond, Virginia. Why not? It's gorgeous day. It's beautiful. Look at us. Some pretty flowers. This. I really like it down here. My last day. Gonna be in Atlanta tomorrow.
