Hey, everybody. Welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. First off, I have to say I am so excited and thank you so much for starting this viral push of the video I did on Facebook where I'm going to donate $100,000 to the Make A Wish Foundation. If you didn't see it, I did the Ice Bucket Challenge, and I'm donating to ALS because it's, you know, it's a horrible disease and a great charity, but I'm also donating up to 100 grand, $100,000 to make a Wish foundation, which is near and dear to my heart and my God. That video, as I'm filming this right now, has been seen by over four and a half million people. Talk about going viral. It's incredible. And the likes and the shares blew right past. So I am cutting a check for $100,000 to the make A Wish Foundation. And so many of you helped that video just skyrocket. Thanks for the shares. Thanks for the likes. If you didn't get a chance to watch it, go to my Facebook fan page and watch it and like it. It's got this momentum because besides the hundred thousand dollars I'm donating, it's getting so much visibility for kids that need it. You know, I love kids. I know als. Amazing cause. All charities need help. It doesn't matter where you put your money. Just put your money out for people in need. When you give, it always comes back to you tenfold. That hundred thousand dollars I'm giving will come back to me in goodwill, karma, love, life, money. Who cares? But it will. And a child that has a terminal illness or an illness that could end his life, to give him a smile. Isn't that what we're here to do? So thank you so much. I want to say that, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Oh. What I wanted to share this week, though, is for you to be on the lookout for the dream stealers, the people that have no option but to be negative. I did that video and I shared from my heart. My kids were on it. I said, ALS is a great cause. I'm going to donate to als. But there's a charity dear to my heart, which is Make a Wish. So I'm going to do this. I want to spread the word. I want a dollar for every. Like, $2 for every share. Because I wanted this to just. And it did. Millions and millions of people saw this. Think of the exposure for both of these incredible charitable organizations, Right? But do you know about 1% of the people wrote just Horrible things on the page. How are you robbing from als? Oh yeah, you're a liar. You'll never cut the check. When I hand the check to Make a Wish. We'll end up doing video and sharing it with you guys. But do you know, it was really enlightening for me to see that maybe every 20th or 30th post was something really negative. And some people really going deep on finding a way to be mean. And this is at the most heart giving level you could ever imagine. I'm giving money to children who need a wish who could have a terminal disease. So it made me think, if a certain percentage of people will be negative and be naysayers and dream stealers at that level, what must you face every day saying, I'm gonna get into real estate, I'm gonna stop being working at IBM, stop being a stay at home mom, stop being a mechanic, or try to do it at the same time. That's not as important as Make a Wish foundation. So people can immediately lean into what's wrong with that and what's wrong with you for trying. It really hit me if someone could be a naysayer on me giving money to kids. What are you facing trying to be your own person? So I just want to remind you of this. You may be a baby boomer in a job that you shouldn't have taken 30 years ago and you want to reinvent yourself. You could be just starting out your life, you could be retired in your 70s and you want to do something for you. You want to expand who you know you are. You want to buy and fix yourself and rehab, or you want to wholesale and just be this middleman, or you want to buy and hold because you've always wanted this rental income. I want to tell you in life, the people who make changes, the people who go are the ones that go against the grain. I've never seen anybody follow what everybody else does and have massive success. You've never seen a statue of a critic. I love that line. But unfortunately, so many people are programmed to immediately find fault in things. I know I sometimes can slip into this. I don't know about you. I can wake up in the morning sometimes and literally, I try to practice gratitude every morning in my life before I get out of bed. But there's some mornings I wake up before I catch myself, I'm thinking of what could go wrong for the day and I'm like, no, how did that get in there? No, I want to think of what could go right, what I'm grateful for about yesterday. And boom, I'm in a great mood. But there's going to be people that are going to come in and try to invade that and get you to turn their way, because that's the majority. It's sad. I'm sorry. I love this country. I love everything about it. But we're. We are a land of naysayers, especially with the news just pushing it over and over. So it hit me because of the Make a Wish video. But it really made me think of you, and I want you to be aware of it this week, and I want you to think of yourself like Teflon. This is the week. You are Teflon. People come in, say something negative. It doesn't stick. It bounces off. You have a thought in your head that's negative. Let it bounce out of your head like Teflon. Try to just force yourself. We are our thoughts. It's as simple as that. I've been reading so many personal development and spiritual books in the last month, you can't believe I'm burning through two books a week. When I boil them all down, we are what we think about. So protect your thoughts and protect yourself from the people that want to give you thoughts that can derail you this week. You're Teflon.
