Who's looking at their goals on a regular basis? Anybody looking at their goals on a regular basis. It's a reminder I have to do all the time. Write down your goals, look at them all the time. These are the types of things that actually move the needle. Welcome to the Dean Graziosi show. All success starts right here. I want to talk about time management. That was my decision, my goal to. Because here's what I know. You're going to have to start finding more time to take this to another level and you're going to have to start prioritizing and you're going to have to start making decisions that will positively impact your life forever. But some of those decisions are hard. Sometimes we don't even see those decisions that we need to make right in front of us. We don't even see that we're working. We're busy. Is it busy compared to productive? Right. Think about that. Yeah, I see you. I see you. Right. Sometimes we're all busy. But are we actually moving on the things or taking and implementing the things that actually move the needle? I think we're with phones and all the things we have, we're busier than ever. But busy doesn't equate to income and impact. So today I wanted to just share some subtle things that I've done through the years that hopefully fall back on you to help you find more time. Because if we can find those gaps in your time, if we could throw away the things that don't serve you and we open that time, we don't fill it with anything except working on this so we can make that impact, create that income. So that's why I wanted to. I wanted you to. I want us to look through this lens today. If I can give a theme for today is what are we working on and what is the end result? And if we had to grade the thing that we spend time on, if we had to grade it between a 1 and 10, like that's a needle mover and I can't believe I'm still doing that. Like one is. That is dumb. Why the hell am I still spending time on that number 10 is that's the thing that actually will make me successful. I think today would be a great day to start judging and grading the things that eat up your time. Do you know right now the average person is doing 2.5 hours every single day on non impactful social media? So I'm not saying being on social media, listening to someone who's inspiring your life, teaching you marketing. I'M not talking about that. I'm just like, oh, my God, do you believe that horse jumped over that thing? And this guy, like, it's the silly stuff that we get sucked into and it happens. It's so easy to go. Let me just look for a minute. And. And did you, who has ever, if you're honest, looked at one quick thing on social media and you looked up and it was 60 minutes later? If you're honest, raise your hand if that's ever happened to you? Right now? I'm not trying to take away all your pleasures. It's like, don't be online, don't go to Starbucks, don't have a glass of wine. Like, I'm not trying to take away your things. But at the end of the day, or let's just say at the end of our life, could you imagine if. I always talk about this, you know, but imagine if God had another tally, or whoever you believe your maker is, or you get to see an audit of your life at the end of it. Could you imagine if. What is that? Two hours a day times seven? 14 hours, 50 weeks? 500. 700. Oh, my God, the amount of hours a year, Right. Could you imagine if God at the end of your life said, I'm sorry you didn't reach all those goals that you wanted, but did you know you spent 10,872 or 100,000 hours surfing on social media? Did you know that you spent another three and a half years on Netflix on shows that you really didn't even like? Could you imagine if someone gave you that audit and you're like, well, I just didn't have the time to reach my full potential, really. Hold on. Let's pull out. Let's pull out Isabelle's journal here. Let's pull out Angelica's journal. So you didn't have time. What about Thursdays when you do? Right. So I like to look at that in advance and say, where do I really want to be? Who do I want to become in the eyes of my. My significant other, my partner, my family, my kids, my parents, my friends, in the eyes of God, the universe, whatever you believe, who do I want to become? And what do I have to say no to? And what do I have to work on? Right. Who's looking at their goals on a regular basis? Anybody looking at their goals on a regular basis. It's a reminder I have to do all the time. Write down your goals, look at them all the time. These are the types of things that actually move the needle, right? And what will happen is, at least in my experience, is if any one of these filming a video, going live, finally letting your friends and people, you know that I'm going to switch my Instagram and start talking about my dot. Like, some of these things could be uncomfortable. Who's a little uncomfortable with filming a video if you're really honest? Who's uncomfortable with going live? Who's uncomfortable letting friends and family know that you're actually going after this? Right? If we don't go after those guys, if we don't slay those dragons, if we don't turn our ship towards that little storm that we have to get through, we're never going to get to the other side. You won't get the results you want unless you face those demons. Unless you face and slay those dragons. And here's the crazy part. Most of those dragons, when you're on the other side, you're like, what the hell was I worried about? That, like, when you finally let friends and family know they're not going to call you and go, jennis, I can't believe you're going to be helping people do that. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I am never talking to you again. It's just not going to happen. And if someone judges you that way, do you really want them around? Right? Do you really want them in your life? They'll come back when you start crushing it, believe me. Everybody thought I was crazy. When I went from what I was doing, cars and real estate and decided to go in this industry, everybody wrote me off. Crazy guy, never going to work. What do you think they all do now? Hey, man, can I get in that business too? That's the way it always works, right? It's like going all in on a relationship and your friend that's single is like, don't commit to one man. Don't give your love to one man. Don't open your heart that much. Then you fall madly in love. And what's your friend? What's your secret to that love that you have? It's like, oh my God, right? That's just the way it goes. So what I want to challenge you today is how do we find the time? That's what we're going to work on today. Let's audit the things that we do. Let's throw out the crap that's under a three or a four that's in your life and then let's save that. Like, I look in my head and the way I linear thinking is what can I throw out? Like there's 24 hours in a day. I got to sleep six, seven hours. Wish I didn't have to, but I think I got to for regenerating, right? So I got to sleep six or seven hours. And that 18 hours that's left, or 17 hours that's left, I look at it like a timeline. In that 17 hours, what am I doing? And if they're in blocks of time, what can I stop doing? And how can I leave that open? And how can I fill those blocks that are open with things that actually move the needle in my life? Make sense? I'm not trying to oversimplify time management, but most of the time when people say I need a time management program, what they really need is they really need to get over their fear. They really need a compelling future. They really need to move forward uncomfortably. So I figured, today, let's find those blocks of time and then let's decide what needs to go in those blocks of time. So you are filming content. So you start building an audience. So you're going towards your goals and we're moving forward, inching forward. Even if you're a little uncomfortable. A couple things as we, as we get to the end here, a couple things, I'm just going to throw them out there. One, if you're not, schedule the time. Write it in the chat. Schedule the time. Don't say, I'm going to work on filming my video. When time allows, I'm going to work because time never allows. You're all damn busy, right? Schedule the time. I'm filming Ido. Tuesday, 3 o', clock, I am filming my first module. Wednesday, 5 o', clock, I'm filming module two. Right? Schedule the time. Here's another one that you might think is crazy, but I would schedule at least 15 minutes. Try 30. Try an hour of pure creative time a week. Thursdays at 5, I'm going to go to a place that makes me feel most creative. I'm going to go in a certain part of my house, I'm going to go for a walk outside. I'm going to put on meditation music and light some incense. Or I'm going to go sit at a library. I'm going to sit at a Starbucks. And that whole 15 minutes, half hour hour is just creative. It's just living into future pacing. Where do I want to be? What should I create? What's my value ladder going to look like? What's my first module going to be? What's my best stories of my life to Anchor my teaching. What's the best tools to. You're not implementing. This isn't implementing time. This is getting into flow state. Right? Who in here has had your best ideas? In moments, you're sitting in the shower, you're stuck in traffic, and you're like, oh, my God, that's my course. You have to manufacture that time once a week so you can get yourself into flow state. Don't think about. In that moment is not the time to think about how you're going to do it. That'll get into your logical brain. That'll screw you all up. You want to get into creativity mode. You want to be in flow state. So schedule flow time. Got that? Schedule time one, schedule flow time and then also schedule implementation time. This is the time where you film the video, you go live on Instagram, you build the course, you get on mastermind.com now, I just said schedule time. What if it was just a half hour of flow time? Maybe two hours a week of implementation time? Right? Schedule that time. And this is why I said audit what you're currently doing. And my suggestion would be this. I'm sorry, I oversimplify things. If you audit that timeline of a week and you rate, oh, that's a 10 out of 10. That's family. That's my kids. That's my spouse or my significant other. That's my health, my working on my. Ooh, there's an hour of surfing on the Internet. There's an hour of obsessing on my house when it's already clean. It's that extra hour. You find that gap and you schedule one of these times in. You schedule creative time or schedule implementation time. Make sense? Right? So we throw out the twos and threes. The ones, twos and threes. We leave that slot and then we schedule it for the thing that can make impact in income, the needle movers. Make sense. As always, our podcast is free. We don't even sell advertising space.
