Dean Graziosi (host) explains the concepts of "humble power" and "quiet confidence," contrasting them with arrogance using the example of Conor McGregor being coached by Tony Robbins. He argues that courage (taking action) builds capabilities, which then produce quiet confidence; he urges listeners to act quietly and let results speak, and ends with a call-to-action to join his texting community.

How do you muster up confidence muscles? Through humble power, through quiet confidence. Welcome to the Dean Graziosi show. All success starts right here. Today. I want you to look through the eyes of something different. I want you to look through the eyes of humble power and quiet confidence. Those two words, humble power, came from a dear friend of mine, Ethan Willis. Love that guy. Quiet confidence is something I've been thinking about my whole life. Like, think about the people you respect the most. They don't walk in the room and go, here I am. They walk in the room and you go, wow, who's that? To me, that's humble power. To me, that's quiet confidence. And I love being understated. I just do. I love being underestimated. I do. You know, I wear T shirts every day. I got a hoodie on today. DG hoodie. I love that. Like, to me, that is where power comes from. That's where results come from. From. But I'm going to tell you how humble power and quiet confidence comes into play. So. And again, how it all ties into you. So let me just go back now. I don't watch fights. Just so you guys know. Just me. We all have our own. We all have our own things. I don't like violence. I saw a lot of violence when I was a kid, and it really, like. I don't know how to explain it. I can't watch. I know. It's like a guy thing. I can't watch fights like that, UFC fights, because they, like, they. They. They like, turn my stomach. I feel so bad. I want to be like, stop, stop. You're killing each other. Right? I watched the McGregor fight, right? And I watched for a reason, because Tony has been coaching McGregor, Conor McGregor, who was like the best UFC fighter. You guys probably know way more than me about this, but he was the best fighter. Got way too cocky. There was no humble power. There was no quiet confidence. He had that jerky ass walk, and he was cocky and, like, you know, just like, look at me. Like, people believe their press, they believe their own pr. And I think he got too big for his britches, right? So he brings. Who better in the entire world than Tony? Tony goes in and coaches him. And I know what Tony was doing. Tony was giving him humble power, finding the real reason he was there. He's probably running away from a bad childhood. Wanted significance. I get it. So did I. We all want these things, but when it goes in the wrong direction, it becomes cockiness and arrogance. That's when people fall, and that's when people never get there. I know Tony got into his heart and found the true reason he was such a great fighter, the true reason he did what he did. And I watched as my buddy and dearest friend on the planet got in that guy's head and he went out there and thankfully I didn't have to watch a crazy fight because it lasted like 40 seconds. In 40 seconds. I watched his interview before and I could see humble power. I could see grace. I could see him finding his true reason for doing that. Tony, I know, talked to him about, you don't have to hate your opponent. Go out there and be a fierce fighter. But when you're done, why not hug him anyway? The reason I said that is I watched him walk out of the locker room and I knew he was in there with Tony because Tony hit me up and said, I'm getting McGregor fired up right now. He walked out of that as a different guy. He didn't walk out with his cocky ass. Look, he walked out with. But like, he walked out and I don't know, I could feel. I could get goosebumps right now. You could feel his humble power, his quiet confidence. He got in that ring, 45 seconds later, it was over. What's the first thing he did? He went over and hugged him and said, hey, great fight. That's not what he does. He didn't do his jerky ass walk. He didn't run around and peacock. In fact, Tony told me after he went over and hugged Cowboy, the guy he was fighting hugged his grandmother and said, hey, you know, I'm glad the fight went the way Win. Hope he's okay. Completely different. Imagine that. We could still not just win. We could still. We could win like that. And we can do it in a humble way. So how does that go to you? I want to share another thing. When you can find humble power, when you can find quiet confidence by getting the education to go faster, by immersing yourself with knowledge from people who've already been there, by shifting your mindset like Tony does so well, and I hope I do on a regular basis. When you shift those things, I want to tell you, don't tell people what you're going to do. Do you know what you do? You just do it. Do it humbly. Do it quietly. Let them never see you coming. And here's where it comes from. It comes from courage, not confidence. You see, when you gain the capabilities that you've already done, you don't realize it, but you're acquiring humble power. You're Acquiring that quiet confidence, don't let it live inside of you. You don't have to yell and tell the world. And if nobody agrees with you, that's okay. If nobody believes in you, even better. Then all of a sudden, instead of them saying, look what they told me they were going to do, they go, holy shit, look what they've done. Think about that. Holy shit, look what they've done. And when you start building that, you know what happens? You build courage. Because there is a fallacy that we can gain confidence without doing. We need courage first. Think about if you went skydiving. You've never gone before. I'm afraid of heights, right? If I was at the edge with a door open, trying to jump out, there's no way I could find confidence to get jump out. I've never done it before. It's the first thing I'm like. I'd be freaked out. I would literally be pooping myself. I said that in a polite way. I would be dying, right? But the only way I'd get out the door is I couldn't find confidence because I'd never done it before. The only way I could get out of that door is have courage. To know that the parachute would open, I have to have courage. It's blind. How do you start a new business? You have to be courageous. How do you go into the knowledge industry when maybe that wasn't your thing, but you're here. You had to be courageous. You've already been courageous a million times in your life. If you've jumped out of a plane three or four times and your parachute opened every time, what would you be doing on the fourth or fifth time? You'd be standing there with the door open with your phone going, hey everybody, woohoo. I'm jumping out. You afraid? I'm not. And you jump out. Why? Because then you have confidence, but you don't get the confidence until you have the courage to jump out for the first time. I want you to think about that today. How do you muster up confidence muscles? Through humble power, through quiet confidence, right? You have the courage, you gain the capabilities, and then all of a sudden quiet confidence builds on the inside to be courageous, to take the first step and then real confidence comes because you did it.
