Hey, everybody. Dean Graziosi, welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. I have a really special message for everybody today, especially my Facebook followers, as well as the people@dg.com or iTunes or watching me on YouTube. This week I had some massive frustration and I want to tell you about it. And some of you got to experience it firsthand. So imagine this. I didn't focus a lot on Facebook for years. I had Dean graziosi.com, i did a weekly wisdom. Tens of thousands of people a week would watch my weekly wisdom. But with some social media, we decided about six months ago, let's put more focus into Facebook because we have so many people wanting to see us there. It's easier. So I started posting messages every day and posting my videos there and oh my God, my fan page grew. 10,000 people a week. We're over 100,000 people and growing really fast. Well, about 10 days ago, someone hacked into our Facebook account, got our password, changed it, and took ownership of our site. Now I'm going to talk about frustration. First of all, I come to work and my team says, hey, you know, your Facebook page is just gone. So it's silent. So we're posting and we're sending messages into customer service and Facebook and trying to figure out things, but it's gone. I'm like, all right, we'll figure it out. Something happened. And all of a sudden, about three days later, whoever hacked in and stole the site started posting this horrible stuff. Just, you know, stuff that was sexual or stuff I would never do. And Facebook is so backed up, they told us it was going to take three to five days to fix. Now here's why I'm sharing this. If you're on Facebook and you got to see that, I apologize. We had zero control. We couldn't go in, we couldn't log in, we couldn't shut the account down. We talked to numerous people at Facebook. I had high level connections at Facebook, super level. And they still said, we're so backed up, it's going to take a few days. And I had to sit and watch something that I work so hard. My reputation, who I am as a person. The messages I deliver week after week just be pounded and slashed. And all of a sudden my phone, my email started blowing up. Dean, how could you do that? My own mother, this isn't a joke. My own mother called me and said, dean, what are you posting on Facebook? Hun? I'm like, mom, do you really think that was me? She goes, no, I didn't. But I don't understand how that works. The only reason I'm sharing this for a few reasons. I'm sorry that happened. It will never happen again. We learned a valuable lesson and we're safeguarded. Facebook's an incredible thing, but you gotta protect yourself. We know that now. And now we're going to grow with 10,000 people a week. Keep growing. We're going to continue to share amazing messages. Thanks for being there. Thanks for supporting us. Thanks for liking. Please keep sharing. It's been awesome. But the other side, how this becomes a weekly wisdom is the first night I saw these posts going out and people started texting me, dean, what are you doing? I focused on all the bad. I focused on people are going to think this is me. It's going to kill my reputation. What if the media picks up on it and thinks it's me? I. I focused on everything that was wrong and I had a sleepless night. Me. This is what I do week after week. And the next day I just snapped out of it and said, wow. I wasn't the observer of my thoughts last night. I let my mind run away because listen, the situation was someone took our Facebook account. But the reality is what my perception, what my thoughts are. I had one night of all the wrong thoughts and I didn't sleep. I was miserable, I was grumpy, I wasn't great to my kids. I wasn't in a good mood. But was I? But then the next day I wasn't happy about it. But I said, no, it's out of my control. We've done everything we can. The people that know me and know my heart know I would never post anything like that. It's gonna get resolved and something better is gonna come of it. Maybe I can teach one person to protect themselves more. Maybe more people will start following us and get our daily inspiration. I don't know. But I know something good is gonna come of this. But instead of waiting for something good to come, I started thinking already that the good was on its way. Same thing happened, huh? Someone took my Facebook account one day. Rotten, miserable, end of the world, scarcity, no sleep. One day, huh? Not so bad. It stinks. But there's nothing I can do about it. And something great is going to come of it. And it just reinforced what I want to share with you. It's all about our thoughts, guys. It's not some about our thoughts. It's about the story we tell ourselves and the thoughts we let circulate in our head. I had this massive line in the sand with the same circumstance. And I want you to use that as an example in your own life when you're having a tough day, a tough week, and you're focusing on the wrong things, check those thoughts, switch them up, focus on a bigger future, and things change. I'm Dean Graziosi. I'm so thankful to have my Facebook account back under control. You'll continue to get amazing Messages through Dean Graziosi.com, iTunes, Facebook, YouTube, week after week.
