How many in here have ever done something like this? And you overthink every little piece of it and you delay six months, Right? It is so much better. Just get it done. Welcome to the Dean Graziosi show. All success starts right here. It's all about the messaging. It's all about the marketing. So really, the only thing that shifted, and this is just a perspective shift, it was the same book. I had the same experience. It was the same time in history. It was the same audience, it was the same name of the book. My employees were the same. Everything was the same except the messaging on why they should get my book. And that's why when you guys are with me today, the half that weren't, and Ethan today, I'm gonna pound into your head more than ever. Like I said it up there, Even if you heard the marketing message, even if marketing and sales are a part of what you do, I'm going to encourage each and every one of you to go deeper, stronger, harder on messaging and marketing and sales. Because what happens, I think our brains, our subconscious tends to lean into other things around sales for some reason. Like if we have a tiny bit of apprehension or a tiny bit of hesitation about sales or a tiny bit of worry that it's not going to work, we go, all right, let me just make the product better. Let me just hire better coaches. Let me just write the book. Let me come up with a better subtitle for the name of the book. Like I said, I know with me, my brain wants to go in all these directions, and it all needs to focus on why people should get that book in their hands and having that marketing stamina to keep trying. Here's the thing, man. And know this, and I'll share this with everybody. Books sell. That's it. The people who try and it doesn't work. They just gave up too early. They gave up on the five yard line. It's like, this isn't an easy game. It's like you got to have that stamina, that marketing stamina. But is it worth it? Hell, yes. Because once it cracks, right now, my book is selling for me. I get to be with you awesome peeps. And my book is selling like crazy. The knowledge business blueprint, selling like crazy. Brendan's courses are selling. They're selling while we're here. But it took a little bit of effort to put that there. And when I compare that to even friends that I have that went to medical school and they're the top of their field or they're the top of their field is lawyers. And they get a thousand bucks an hour, they still got to work an hour to get that thousand bucks. I'm going to make 1000 bucks probably this last 14 seconds, but that's a whole other story. No, I'm kidding. I'm just joking. Not really, but I'm going to make that money today being here with you. But it took 30 years and lots of trial and error and lots of failure. But that marketing stamina and what you're going to hear from me today, I mean to dominate this, but this applies, this apply to everybody is I'm going to get an excuse from you all to really hammer in on selling by saying, sell things that you love so much that you know you're hurting people if they're not getting it in their hands. Amen. And when you feel about that, man, then the gloves are off. If you're selling booze, you're selling gambling, you're selling a half assed book or a half assed coaching program, you should feel bad and you should stop selling and make it the best in the world. But once you know it's the best in the world, then the gloves are off, man. It's time to sell hard, strong and effectively. How many in here have ever done something like this? And you overthink every little piece of it and you delay six months, Right? It is so much better. Just get it done and drive traffic to it. Because so many times you go, I don't think that headline's good. I don't think my hook is good. I think my videos suck. And when people tell me that, like, well, how many people did you drive to? Like, oh, nobody yet. I just don't think I have it perfect. It's like you're not qualified to know if it's perfect. I'm just being honest. I've done infomercials in my past that I'm like, oh, this one's so dumb, I shouldn't even put it out there. And it was one of my best infomercials ever. I also spent a quarter of a million bucks and took a private plane all around the country and stopped at all my successful students. I went to like eight cities in three days and a camera crew. We made it like a reality show. It was the best looking show I've ever seen in my life. I'm like, this is gonna set me apart from everybody else. It bombed. Like not one person bought off and I would have bet everything. It was my best show. And I got so frustrated. This Is a true story. I turned the camera on, I pulled a bookshelf, I put fan fake books on it, I stood in front of it, I talked to the camera for a half hour. To this day, it's the best infomercial of my life. So you never know until the audience votes with their credit card. Just remember that somebody says, I don't know if it's a winner. How did they vote? They voted with the credit card that when you spent a dollar, you got $2 back. It works if you spend a dollar and you get 50 cents back. Shoot a new video, write a new headline, just get it done. Because this is your answer to generate revenue to be able to afford marketing for your app. You can't afford it. Maybe it's 799, but you could afford it when maybe your average ticket is 29 bucks. Make sense if you're teaching people how to fly fish and it's a 10 hour video might be different than a 10 hour video on how to manage your IRA in a better, more effective way. Right? One is like, like fly fishing, I might go. The other one's like, no, this is my retirement. So one, even though they're both 10 hours. So you can say like if it's just in my space, I could say, hey, four hours, I'm going to do $100. Course if it's 10 hours, it's more. If it's 20 hours, it's going to be more. But you also have to take in consideration the other genres. And I'm going to let Brendan share. But the other thing I would share because I know you're done with a bunch of them. There isn't anything better than letting people vote with their credit card. Don't overthink it. Let Brendan share right now. Get your course out there. But don't think it's like, I think when we have something done and ready to go, it's that hesitation to launch. Is it the right title? Is it the right price? Is it the right thing? Did I label it right? And we wait and wait and wait. And then we also think like I don't want to lose a lot of money. Spend $100 on it, spend $300 on it and just see what if your price and what you do is right now you might be sitting on an absolute gold mine that you could spend a thousand, $5,000 a day. But you'll think about all those pieces. Say should I start with ebook? And then I got to create the middle and flow. It's like I have some things that start with a free thing. I have things that go from my book to a middle to another. But right now, one of my best campaigns is straight to a $2,000 product, nothing in between zero to 2,000. One of the best products. So I didn't even know that was going to work. I'll be honest with you. I wasn't sure, but it is. So I would just suggest to everybody, if you're close and you got it ready, launch it. Don't risk your paying your mortgage, but get it out there.
