What if time wasn't your enemy? What if it was your friend? With all the opportunities that exist today, why haven't you reached your next level of income, life, and wealth? In most cases, we've been lied to. We've been told that if you find the right opportunity and you work hard, you can be successful. And that's simply not true. Millionaires, billionaires, and successful people have realized you need the foundation for wealth, the habits. And that's exactly what you'll be learning on the Millionaire Success Habits podcast. All success starts here. What's up? What's up? Welcome to this special New Year's Eve edition of the Millionaire Success Habits podcast. It doesn't matter if you're listening to this on New Year's Day or any day of the year. This might be one of the most important podcasts you could ever listen to of mine. When it comes to setting goals that stick and actually transcending that, going upstream to find the reason why your goals haven't lasted or stuck in previous years, this is about making the next 12 months the best 12 months of your life. And I'm doing this in my backyard in front of my Tesla. If you're watching, you could see that. If you're listening, you can imagine I'm in front of my amazing car. I love this car. And I'm doing that because I'm giving it away. Yes, I'm doing something crazy, and I'm giving my car away. I think it was $128,000 new, and it's going to be somebody's who might be listening right now. I'll tell you more about that in a minute. Now let's get to setting goals that stick. You see, we have a million different emotions, but before we get to those emotions, let's just talk about time. How fast has the last five years gone by for you? Like this? Can you believe it's 2019? Hear that again. It's 2019. I don't care if you're 17 or 70. Time seems to be going faster and faster and faster, especially because we're doing so much, we're so busy that. That the days go by in a flash. The weeks, the years, the decades go by. So now let's go back to setting goals, reaching your dreams, living the life you once thought was just a fantasy. Like, how do you make that a reality? There's a million different things. And I said before, you could have fear, you could have regret, you could have happiness, you could have sadness, you could have aspirational motivation. You could have all that. But what are some things we could do upstream so they're not just great ideas. And here's what I want you to think about. I want you to humble me for a moment and really live this experience, maybe for the first time in your life. Like, I mean, really right now, I'm gonna ask you to do something, and I want you to engage with me. I want you to be a part of this. Let's pretend it's New Year's Eve. Now, it doesn't matter when you're listening. I hope you're listening to this on New Year's Eve, but if not, it could be anytime. Let's pretend it's New Year's eve, but you're 90 years old, and at that time, I believe all of our thoughts could fit into two separate buckets. At 90 and it's new Year's Eve, I bet you're not. You don't have a lot of things you're looking forward to. I don't mean that rudely, but I bet you, and only because I have so many older friends, a lot of the thinking will be years past. And bucket number one could be filled with lots of regret, wondering how life went by so fast. Like, how did you get here? I mean, like. Like a bad song that sticks in your head. It could be like, time's up, you missed it, it's over. And I think you could have these feelings of like, why did I play small? Why did I listen to the negative people? And why did I spend time and worry about things that didn't matter, that didn't move the needle, that didn't take my life to another level. It didn't help my help, God, the universe, my income, my happiness. Regret even playing small. Regret listening to others, Regret letting day after day go by without taking action on the things that move the needle in your life. I believe the majority of the world think that, and that breaks my heart. And that's bucket number one. I want you to imagine yourself there, no matter how you feel. Now imagine being 90 or 95, having these thoughts of looking backwards, like, oh, my God, I let life slip me by. Where did it go? Or I think there's another category, and that's bucket number two, where you can look back on life with gratitude, with an abundant mindset of saying, wow, I went after it. I didn't listen to my friends. I didn't listen to the naysayers. I didn't listen to that inner villain telling me to play small. I didn't. I stopped Wasting time on the shit that didn't matter, that didn't move the needle in my life. I tried. Maybe you failed a whole bunch of times, but at least you failed on your terms. But after a strong failure always comes a high high. And what would that feel like if you were like, wow, life is coming towards the end, but I lived it. You see, we're all going to die. None of us are getting out of this alive, and it's going fast. So what we get to decide on is what we spend our time on. What if time was. Wasn't your enemy? What if it was your friend? What if it was a reminder to take action every day because the clock is ticking? And instead of doing the shit that doesn't move the needle, that doesn't inspire you, that maybe is negative in nature, what if today you just decided you were going to live your life, so at the end of it, you would be in bucket two? That you'd be full of gratitude, that you squeezed every bit of juice that life had to offer. You just went for it? Wouldn't your goals seem different? Yes, you could set goals, and I could give you the best tactics for setting goals at six. And I do, and I will. If you follow me. I'm doing a special New Year's training, the first week of New Year's, all that stuff. But this is fundamentally the foundation of your life. 90, 92 years old, you look back and say, I regret. I missed. I listened to others. I played small or, oh, my God, I went after it. I squeezed the most out of life it had to offer. I failed, but I succeeded. I squeezed this life, I used it up. I didn't miss anything. Feel those emotions today. And how do you put those into making the next 12 months the best 12 months of your life? How do you look through those glasses of being in bucket two when you go to do something? You go, no, I'm never doing that again. I'm never hanging out with that friend ever again. I'm never listening to that bad vice again. I'm never going to put off until tomorrow what I can do today again. I'm going to register the company. I'm going to make the phone call. I'm going to get the course. I'm going to take the action. I'm going to stop screwing around, because no one is going to do it for you. It's no one else's fault. This is our life. We got to take control. Someone may have hurt you. Sorry. Someone may have taken advantage of you. That sucks. But it doesn't change the fact that we are in control. You want the next 12 months to be the best 12 months of your life. Start doing the things that move the needle. Start making a list of the shit you should not do and start pushing towards what you want. Life is ticking by too quick. Let's go after it. Let's do this and let's make 2019 or whatever time you're listening the best year of your entire life. And what I said before, no matter when you're listening this, you got to take this challenge. It's you're going to want to go to thebetterlife.com thebetterlife.com it is a challenge I created. It's 30 days long. It's about two minutes a day. It's free.
