Hey, everybody. Dean Graziosi. And welcome to the Weekly wisdom. First off, if you watched last week's video, you saw that I'm running a contest. I want your story, your self improvement, your self development, your personal development story on how these weekly wisdoms or anything I've ever taught in Totally fulfilled or any of my books and New York Times bestsellers that have helped transform your life. I want your video. I'm doing a new TV show and I'm writing a new book and I'd love to put you in one or both of those. So what I'm doing, what I did, is created an ethical bribe. If you click the link below, you'll get some instructions and submit your video. We're going to put the names in a hat and someone will randomly be picked and win a brand new iPhone 6. Plus, the top video will get $2,500 in cash. Well, here's the thing. There's only three weeks left. I said I'd do it for a month and so many of you sent us messages that you were going to film the video. But don't let time run out. Get it done this weekend or this week. Okay? Today's message comes from Dale Carnegie. Yeah, I'm reading and absorbing books like crazy. And I'm listening and loving Dale Carnegie right now. And I'm reading his book about worry. And he goes really deep because all of us worry about these things. You don't even realize what you're worrying about. But he had a great, great, simple. And I wrote this in my phone and I'm going to pull it up. Four things to do when there's a problem in your head. First is on a piece of paper, write down what is the problem? Define it. So many times we'll walk around and we'll have this problem or be stressed. There's lots of problems. If you have a problem or multiple problems that are getting to your stomach or you're thinking about it, write it down. Secondly, what is the cause? This is where you do a little research, like what caused this problem? Because if you know what caused it, you could repair it. In the future, if you know what caused it, you might be able to look back and decide what things need to change. So you really need to spend the time to analyze what the cause is. And next that'll evolve to what are all the possible solutions. Right? So you're going to write down the problem, you're going to write the cause and then write down what are all the solutions that could help me here And Then the last one is, pick the one that you think is the best and take action. I know that sounds simple, but so many times you'll wake up in the middle of the night and you'll think about something or the next day. Or is my boss thinking this is my friend thinking this, will this happen? Won't that happen? And so many times, what's that old saying? Thousands of horrible things happen in my life and a couple of them actually came true. Most of the time we drive ourselves nuts with our thoughts on what could go wrong rather than the actual event. So do that exercise. And one other thing, as I read this book that another businessman used that really changed everything in his life was he said to himself, okay, if that's the problem, what is the absolute worst that could happen? If that was true, and when he said, when he accepted the absolute worst, everything above, that was okay. So combine those two this week. Because even if it's the tiniest little problems that nitpick at you or something big in your life, that little writing it down exercise, those four things, imagine the worst can really make an impact. I'm already doing it. And share. I did something similar to that for years, but this one's just so simple, I'm adapting it. I hope you do too. Okay, don't forget, click the link below and send in that video. There's only three weeks left. And lastly, if you don't have it, totally fulfilled, my first New York Times best seller.
