A funny story about making limoncello, which requires anywhere from 50 to 150 lemons depending on how big the batch is, and those lemons have to be washed somewhere. Well, as you can see, I have a tiny sink in my kitchen, but I happen to have a huge 6-foot bathtub that my brother bleached and scrubbed and cleaned to within an inch of its life and then decided to wash all the lemons in the bathtub. Brilliant idea, except that as he ran the water, he decided he would multitask and came downstairs and the bathtub overflowed. I was sitting in front of the fire, glass of champagne in hand, sitting with my sister-in-law, Michael's wife, enjoying a lovely evening, and then water started pouring through the ceiling of my living room. Fuck! My brother hysterical. It's not my fault, it's not my fault, I didn't know how long it would take to fill the tub. Had to have ceiling cut out. Oh, by the way, and this was at Christmas, so we found out that my brother decided to fill the tub and then got sidetracked by looking at wine to purchase online until he heard my— his wife, my sister-in-law, and I screaming. That is the funny limoncello story.
