In this brief YouTube promotional segment, two speakers invite listeners to participate in a Polar Plunge event on February 26 at Lake Michigan, organized to raise funds for Alive Rescue, a local nonprofit dog rescue. They discuss logistics such as whether to wear a wetsuit, emphasize the short 10‑second plunge, and highlight a personal connection: Debra adopted a dog from Alive Rescue. The event will conclude with an after‑party at Off Color Brewing featuring a table of goodies. Throughout, the speakers repeatedly urge the audience to join, donate, and support the cause.

Please join us on February 26th as we take the plunge. Lake Michigan. Should I wear a wetsuit or not? Would that be cheating?
That would definitely be cheating. You'll be in the water for 10 seconds. You can do it. In and out.
Free cryotherapy. Okay, but why are we taking this plunge?
Polar Plunge, or Shelter Shivers, or Alive Rescue likes to call it, is to benefit Alive Rescue, which is a local non-for-profit dog rescue. And Debra actually adopted a dog from Alive Rescue a couple years ago. And afterwards, we will be having an after-party party at Off Color Brewing, and we will have a little table set up with lots of goodies. We promise fun stuff that we're not supposed to talk about.
Please join, please donate.
