How We Turned a Complex Retail Idea into a Working Product | Client Testimonial

A former apparel specialist worked with Ratio to build a retail-technology product from a vague idea. What a journey it has been for us, trying to figure out the technology and all the trial and error and sometimes 3 steps forwards and 5 back. But I am very proud of the product that we have created. And honestly, I look forward to really put it out there in the market and have brands really feel empowered to help their and to serve their consumers. In a way that consumers want to, you know, especially women apparel. As I've told you before, I come from a background where I've worked with women in the fitting room and in the floors of the stores.
And tell me a little bit about how it was for you working with us and, you know, your experience of actually being able to take a vision that you had. And I don't want to tell stories. This, Your project took a long time. We went through a lot of iterations. We pivoted a lot. We're still kind of in that, but the ability to do that in a cost-effective way, I think that was probably a pretty big advantage for you, wasn't it?
Very. I have to say, I think it was meant to meet you. Like this kind of important connections, I think are always meant to, because when I first came to Ratio, I was So, you know, when you have just a cloud vision, right? You know, all I knew was the customer and obviously the retail industry, and I was so green even when it came to the technology itself. Like, so I am very lucky that I was able to meet somebody like you and your team because you were able to take this clouded vision and like bring it down to earth so we could actually materialize it through the technology. And sometimes in my communication, I was super complicated because I am also an overthinker, which I'm trying to work on every day. Trust me. It's in my development plan. So, and you know, that overthinking and that confusion was coming across as very convoluted. And I think that you did a great job just simplifying it. First of all, understanding it and seeing where the confusion is, and then just really simplifying it and making this really, uh, convoluted idea clear and simple. And I think that your background in math, uh, also helped with that.
